The Asylum: PlaytimeLost GamesEscape roomIRLSuper fun room with good variety of puzzles. One lock needs to be changed out for sure as you can’t see the numbers well enough to get the code right. The end is super fun.
The Asylum: The Doctor's SecretLost GamesEscape roomIRLDid this room with two of us and struggled with a few puzzles. Most of the puzzles are multi layered and some of the clues were difficult to understand.
Atlas9 [Immersive Experience]Atlas9Escape roomIRL10/10 on set design, props and immersion 4/10 on puzzles that make sense and are not busy work. Two floors and millions of pieces of data, phone numbers, red herrings mixed in with stuff you actually need. We spent 3 hours and didn’t finish all tasks and most of it felt like busy work. At $40 per adult we got our moneys worth but it didn’t work for me due to lack of solvable and interesting puzzles. Plus there are 100 other people walking around and in your space trying to solve same puzzles and tons of reading and videos that play that you can’t hear due to background music. Tons of potential to make more intuitive and fun puzzles in each room. Would love to see them switch things up and do that.
Dark Winter's Night - Clash With KrampusBackstage Escape GamesEscape roomIRLLots to do in this room! Set design was great, good immersion in story. One challenging puzzle we needed some help on and game master was helpful.
The Legend Of AtlantisBackstage Escape GamesEscape roomIRLGood set design and variety of puzzles. Low light in multiple areas of the game added frustration. Some of the puzzles were very time consuming and felt like busy work. A piece to one puzzle was not where it was supposed to be. Game master had to come in to help find it.
Cosmic CrisisThe Escape Game - Myrtle BeachEscape roomIRLFun set design. A few busy work time killing puzzles but otherwise we had fun. Lots of tech in this room
The Secret AgentThe Experience Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLSmall(ish) room so I was glad we had group of three to do it. Some fun retro props with one being interesting throwback to my childhood. Needed one clue as we got stuck and overthought things.
VanishedEscape From St. LouisEscape roomIRLThis is 75 minute room. Some tedious tasks to complete and things may be used more than once which game master should make players aware of. Storyline was just okay. A few items in the room are looking dated at this point.
Carnival of the CosmosEscape From St. LouisEscape roomIRLFavorite of the three rooms we did here. Got off to very fast start and then got stuck on one puzzle which game master gave us a tip on. Fun tasks to complete at the beginning of the room!
Alien EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLSet design and immersion fabulous! One task was tedious and took us longer than it should have to complete. Game master let us go two minutes beyond our hour so we could finish. LOTS to do in this room. Tech all worked well. Loved it!
Frankenstein EscapeSt. Louis EscapeEscape roomIRLGood variety of puzzles and set design/immersion fabulous game is closing soon so glad we got a chance to play. Some nods and similar tasks to other rooms at this location.
