Room had so much going on - the attention to detail and the expansive scope of the adventure was impressive. We’ve never experienced anything like it. Doing Pins and Needles in a few hours…CAN’T WAIT!!

Both rooms here are delightful - we can’t pick a favorite though I think you might love the one you do first bc it would be your initial exposure to the excellence they bring. Don’t overthink it - just go do both rooms. Apparently they are building two more rooms!!!! If so, we will travel the 900 miles again!

We did Wild West also and though both were good, we liked this room better. GM seemed a little out of sorts which detracted from our enjoyment and overall impression somewhat - perhaps not having a great day.

Vegas Hangover - The HeistEscape FLAEscape roomIRLReally love this place! Laid back but enthusiastic GMs, well-constructed, logical puzzles, and fun “bonus” activities and challenges. Bridget, our GM, was so awesome!

Alice In WonderlandRiver City Escape RoomEscape roomIRLFor us, many of whom have done dozens of rooms, this one was just ok. We love River City Escape and have now played all their rooms. The GMs are always lively and fun, the rooms are well designed and for the most part, the puzzles are great. We especially loved Innocent which had the type of puzzles that we like best. Alice was our least favorite but can still recommend both the room and the place. Best Alice in Wonderland room we’ve ever done is in Columbia, SC at The Final Door. We did that one over Thanksgiving and it was excellent - it may be that my review is lukewarm for River City’s Alice since it came on the heels of a great room. If in Richmond, check out River City - good place!
Down The Rabbit HoleThe Final DoorEscape roomIRLHighly recommend! Unlike any other we’ve done (and we’ve done 70 or so). Tight puzzles, no mechanical glitches, super attentive game master. Puzzles were logical and related to story line. One caveat: some climbing and crawling!

But I would try another room at this place. The Tobacco one relied on too much local information - Duke sports - that we had no knowledge of.
