Haunted HouseEscapology - Raleigh HillsEscape roomIRLIt was definitely an experience.. The scares are not too terrible and all audible scares. I felt like the puzzles were not very intuitive and we needed a lot of hints. We have done 20 escape rooms and this one requires the most hints. We ended up getting extra time so we did get to finish. But it just wasnt very satisfying. We didn't feel like we needed to use much wit but rather being observant of your surroundings. I wouldn't call it immersive as there is a fake ceiling and then the real ceiling. Also you can hear people right outside the door as they walk in the hallways.
The Wizard's LairEscapism PortlandEscape roomIRLMostly just a bunch of locks and the owl was malfunctioning. Not the best but we had a discount and it was okay enough. Wouldn't pay full price tbh.
Alchemist's RevengeEmpire Escape GamesEscape roomIRLGreat room. I like the linear flow of the game and was perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens. Would be great for a first timer while still entertaining and unique for someone that's done more escape rooms.
