Moriarty's Manor
MindFox Escape
Escape room

I really enjoyed this room! The props were beautiful and the puzzles were unique. This was my 23rd escape room (18W, 5L) and I played with a group of 7 with similar statistics. We ranged in age from tweens to 50s. All of the puzzles were in tip-top condition and fit well with the theme. While we didn't need any hints from the GM, we did need different brains looking at ways to approach each puzzle. MindFox really knows how to make a great escape room (we lovvve B&W Cafe too!).

I love this room! This is probably one of my favorites! This was my 11th escape room (7W-4L) that I solved with two other players with similar statistics. The theme and decorations were FABULOUS! The puzzles were very clever and in tip-top condition. We got stuck two or three times so had to ask for hints. I wish I could play this again.

The set design for this game was awesome. Lara's really knows how to decorate rooms! This was only my 14th game (10W-4L) and I played with two others with similar experience. We think it is a medium-difficulty game, although we had to ask for two hints. One of the tasks was pretty cool and something I haven't seen before. There was nothing scary and this might be a fun game for adventurous kids.

I have mixed feelings about this room, but my wishy-washiness is all based on my escape room preference, not the room. I enjoy non-linear mechanical rooms in which we figure everything out ourselves. This room is a linear high-tech experience in which the narrator tells you what to do each step of the way. So it is more of an experience with a story than a typical escape room. But if this is your cup-of-tea, the rooms are very well decorated and there are several unique elements. There is no timer in the room but I think everyone will escape since the game play is narrated. This was my 22nd game (17W-5L) so I still consider myself a novice. I played with two adults with similar statistics and that seemed like a good number. We agree that this is a medium difficulty game.

The props were beautiful and in excellent condition! This was my 13th game (9W-4L), so I'm still a beginner. I played with two others with similar records and we thought the room was pretty difficult, but in a fun way. We had to ask for several hints. At our experience level, it would have been nice to have a few more players. I am eager to try another room at Lara's since their room decorations are incredible.

The set was very well designed, awesome props and puzzles. This business really knows how to decorate their rooms - another room at their location, The Depths, is one of my favorites. We escaped Spec Ops with a group of seven novices (5 adults, 2 tweens) and two (?) hints. This was my 15th room (11W - 4L) and I found the puzzles were very challenging but not overwhelming. It was nice to have several brains looking at the puzzles bc one person would see a connection that the others missed. My only gripe with all of their rooms is that the clock is running while the long videos are playing. Yes, I understand that it is part of the immersive experience, but I think the clock should pause.

This was a fun game! The decorations and puzzles were great. Being a big scared-y cat, I appreciate that the room was not scary. This was my 24th escape room (19W, 5L) that I played with a group of seven, where everyone had similar statistics, and we ranged in age from 9-57. The decorations were top-notch and everything was in working order. I would consider this more of a high tech room but there were mechanical aspects and most of the puzzles were non-linear. It was nice that everyone in our group had something to do.

The prop designs were incredible! This was a very high end game and almost every puzzle was unique for us. We are still beginners (this was my 12th room: 8W-4L) and I played with 2 others with similar stats. Because of this, we thought some of the puzzles were difficult. The GM gave us several hints (only when we asked) and even allowed us to stay a few extra minutes to finish everything. We really appreciated that... bc who likes to lose when you're so close? We are eager to try one of their other rooms tomorrow!

This was a very fun and exciting game! The set design was fabulous and the tasks were very novel for me. The Escape Game has really mastered set design - this was our fourth room with them and we have been wowed with each one ("The Depths" was my favorite even though we did not successfully escape that one). I really loved how our group was split into two cells at the beginning and how we had to work together to reunite. This was my 16th game (12W-4L) so I consider myself a novice. Our group was composed of seven players with similar statistics (5 adults, 2 tweens) and I thought this was a hard game. We received a couple of hints and escaped by the skin of our teeth (17 sec). The last task was funny.

This was a very fun game! The props were very detailed and in tip-top condition. The puzzles were very novel for us - many were tough but not impossible. We played with three adults with 9, 7, and 6 prior games experience (only half of them successes). The GM allows unlimited hints but we were trying hard to avoid hints. However, we eventually had to ask for three hints (two on the same task). This would be a fun game for the whole family, although three to four players is probably optimal because of space. We are eager to return to try another room soon!
