Scarlet Haunt - CLOSEDGetaway Games - Morgan HillEscape roomIRLWe played as beta testers, but it is a solid room and absolute worth the drive to Morgan Hill. They also have a second room, with a murder mystery theme, that was lots of fun as well. Puzzles were varied and well thought out, quality build, nice size spaces. Overall a great addition to the Bay Area escape room scene.

Great theme, good puzzles, fun technical elements, and the number of puzzles is right for the amount of time they give you. We finished in the last couple of minutes with 4 players. (Do not attempt to play this game without at least two fluent Mandarin speakers. There is a lot of written and spoken Mandarin necessary to solve the puzzles and understand the story.)

The game was fun, but had a couple of tech issues that required the owner come in and fix for us. Overall Iād recommend it if youāre in Taipei and looking to do a room, just keep your expectations reasonable. I am planning to play the other room at this location as well.

Cybercity 2049Escape Barcelona 2 3Escape roomIRLThis room is just outstanding all around. Great theme, impressive build, fun puzzles, and a lot of great surprises. Donāt be afraid to venture away from the main mission to discover some hidden opportunities.

Super unique theme, awesome build, great puzzles, and some physical activity so wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Itās definitely worth the trip out to Badalona. Ideal group size 4.
The Mystery Of Scum Island - CLOSEDMadness ToledoEscape roomIRLThis is a really solid room with a great theme, fun space, and unique ending. We played with 3 but couldnāt get all the bonus coins, so itās definitely possible to enjoy it with 5-6 people if you are completionists. When booking, we were initially told that they didnāt have any English speaking game masters, but thankfully Davie, our GM, did speak plenty of English to help us when needed. Definitely worth playing if youāre in Toledo or want to take the 30 minute train ride from Madrid.

It was an enjoyable room, even if it doesnāt rank at the top of my list with other rooms weāve played in Spain. I suggest choosing cooking stations as far away from eachother as possible since itās a competition.

The Nursery - CLOSEDEDscapade GamesEscape roomIRLMy friends and I paid $62 to wait while we were all directed to take turns completing tasks in the Nursery one at a time, so most of our time was not spent exploring or working on puzzles. Very few puzzles and all were basic, with more tasks like āgo find this object.ā Poor build with many items feeling like they were broken or unfinished. Just overall very disappointing unless youāre looking for an immersive haunt experience and not an escape room.
