Floor 66Just Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was our first time at Just Escape Room, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Myself and my companions all enjoyed the room. I appreciated the fact that it wasn’t strictly linear, which is always a concern for me when I play in groups of more than 2. While I liked the theme, the storyline could’ve been more cohesive, as the game did not feel particularly futuristic. I appreciated the uniqueness of some of the puzzles! Jordan, the owner, and our game master, was a most amiable fellow whom we enjoyed talking to at the end.

SpellboundGreat Room Escape - NashvilleEscape roomIRLOne of the very few escape rooms that I did not enjoy. The location and entrance made my hairs stand on edge and just being there was scary. Not in a good way. That being said, the game master was super nice. I just wanted to get out of there before the game even began, which impacted my enjoyment. A few cool puzzles, my kids enjoyed it.

I found the puzzles to be very creative and clearly well thought out. The staff are all very nice and the waiting area was well decorated and inviting. Highly recommend
8-Bit EscapeEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLGreat set design. Loved the theme! Poor flow, and a few of the puzzles were not well clued or unable to solve until later, in a nonsensical way. It was still fun and did have a few really good puzzles, too. But one of the puzzles was outright faulty and we had to keep guessing until it worked. Set design was better than the puzzles. Game master was very nice and it was a very welcoming place. Definitely recommend, aside from a few minor things which need fixing

The game master , who I think was one of the owners, was very welcoming and was dressed in costume for the game. The set design was good. It did have some “body parts”/ medical theming, but not overly gory, which I appreciated. Overall, quality room with some hard puzzles

Dr. Gem’s Time TrapMaine Escape GamesEscape roomIRLInitially I thought this game would be overwhelming, but it turned out to be great fun instead. What I appreciated the most about this room was how cohesively every puzzle tied in with the storyline. In a time travel themed room, one is never really sure how that element of time travel will be presented. And Maine Escape Games did it brilliantly. The room was high-tech and to my delight everything worked the way it was supposed to. We were a team of 2 who managed to get out in just over an hour. We appreciated the game master gave us those few extra minutes to complete our mission. However, I do not appreciate their weekend pricing structure for 2 players. Still highly recommended.
Storyteller's SecretBoxarooEscape roomIRLStoryteller’s secret is by far one of my top escape rooms played. The set design was amazing down to the very last detail. The theme made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The puzzles were extremely creative and well thought out. I highly recommend this room if you’re in the Boston area.

I appreciated the creative theme and many of the puzzles were well thought out. aside from flowing well with the theme of the room puzzles were challenging, engaging, clever and unique. highly recommended.

I would recommend this room to smaller groups as larger groups may have people standing around feeling superfluous due to the mostly linear nature of this room. I have rarely encountered a toolkit to use in the room, and I appreciated that immersive detail that made the game more fun. I was initially worried that this toolkit would be too complex and would feel like a chore, but my fears were quickly set aside as this was not the case. Overall, I had a positive experience and fun playing this game with my family.

There was nothing gory, which I appreciated and the room was actually quite sweet. The puzzles were unique and everything worked the way that it was supposed to. This room had the right blend of challenging puzzles without being frustrating. I love supporting family-owned businesses and our game master was fantastic.
Conundrum MuseumBoxarooEscape roomIRLOf the 2 games I’ve played at Boxaroo, both were top notch. Our game master had to do some acting at the beginning, and it was very believable and immersive. The game itself had an interesting theme and the set design made me feel like I really was in a small art gallery. Most of the puzzles made sense and were a pleasure to execute upon. Overall, I would highly recommend conundrum museum.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - LynnfieldEscape roomIRLI was very excited to find an escape room with a time travel theme. The theme was cute and as you can probably imagine, this combined several themes into one overarching theme. The puzzles were creative and everything fit well within the theme. I would’ve liked to see a few more stops on the time travel train, perhaps expanding this one out to a 90 minute room. Lots of fun!!!!!

The set design was very nice and the game masters at this location were very nice and friendly. I would recommend the other rooms at this location before recommending this room.
