The room was set out well in the most and the puzzles were clear and made sense with the story. Some nice little touches that added to the experience. All in all we are very happy and will definitely be back to complete the other rooms. Thank you for hosting us.

We liked that there was options to make the room a little easier for those less experienced, a nice touch for those new to escape rooms. Thank you guys, we will be back.

I would highly recommend this game to enthusiasts and newbie’s as it is such a great room with some cool little tricks and a great range of puzzles for all. This room was phenomenal, an absolute whirlwind of puzzles, immersion and just us all looking at each other with dropped jaws. If you are in Amsterdam, this is an absolute must. Do not leave until you have visited this room.

Game play was good and the puzzles flowed relatively well. There were a few slightly frustrating sections, but nothing that put us off. Just a little tweak here and there and it would raise the game play. GM was awesome and really welcoming. Thank you Mark.

We really enjoyed the experience and felt that the room was well thought out with a few nice little light bulb moment puzzles. The GM was great and made us very welcome. The puzzles in this room worked well and kept our group of five both busy and entertained for the duration, with a few head scratchers on the way. The room design was excellent throughout the journey and used a good range of audio and video to immerse us further into the story. The atmosphere was amazing across a range of different styles and the immersion element was excellent with a great setting and use of audios. The puzzles were great and the setting was used to amplify this further. I liked the optional merchandise, nice touch! They also offer online rooms at a very reasonable price to purchase.

The room was reasonably well put together and the story was good. Some nice little local touches to entertain and make the plot line a little more humorous. Some of the props are a little aged, however this didn’t really detract from the gameplay.
The Riviera Mystery Escape - CLOSEDEscape TorquayEscape roomIRLWe visited Torquay as a birthday treat for one of our group and as huge escape room fans, we booked both rooms at Escape Torquay. The GM’s were welcoming and introduced the game quickly so we could get started. However, the atmosphere was poor and the room design was a little bit thrown together which didn’t help. The puzzle format was not very well thought out and you simply followed the pattern then throughout. With that being said, the venue was in a great position and with the rooms being rethought and redesigned it would be amazing.
The Great Train Robbery - CLOSEDEscape Rooms PaigntonEscape roomIRLUnfortunately, this room was really not a good experience. The puzzles were poor, the gameplay was poor and the setting was poor. With that being said, the new owners were helpful, polite and valued our input. Good luck to the staff, there is potential there. The position of the venue is fantastic and with the right advice it could be great.

The GM was great and was very welcoming, introducing the room well. This was the better of the two rooms as the set design was better and made a little more sense.
