Ghost LightMyssTic RoomsEscape roomIRLUpon entering the room I was already drawn to a world of lights and drama. The set design was a perfect fit for its theme. The puzzles were parallel to the storyline and each room grew to that notion. Our game master Steph was attentive and kept in character which was great! We left the room 2 hours ago and I’m still thinking about how fun and amazing it was!!!
Gold RushThe Escape Game - New JerseyEscape roomIRLThis was super fun. Our first game at this facility and had me booking another room soon after. The room had physical elements that made it amusing and it totally fit the theme! Hidden clues that required you to scan every inch and even had a puzzle involving water which was neat. Fully enjoyed this room.
The DepthsThe Escape Game - New JerseyEscape roomIRLThis was our first public room. I loved the set design and the mission behind it. A great room for teamwork because some puzzles required information to be communicated across the room. It was so fun and interactive. A cute surprise at the end 🙂

The puzzles were clever and rewarding one you solve them. Great use of the sense of touch and exploration. I’d highly recommend this one!

I felt like I spent most of the time staring at posters on the wall. The game master did not help or guide us in the right direction which was frustrating. Sad because this theme has such great potential to be a great room.
Haunted Estates - CLOSEDPuzzle Out RoomEscape roomIRLThe room was not well lit and the flashlights provided weren’t very helpful. Not to be harsh but the handmade puzzles weren’t very good. There was a mechanical malfunction which led the game master to come into the room which kind of ruined it for me after that. I think the room needs more work.

A variety of puzzles ( visual, audio, lights, hidden objects, perspective etc..) it had it all. Both mechanical and high tech. I highly recommend this room to adults and kids of age 🙂

It involved both mechanical and high tech puzzles which is great when the flow is nice. One high tech puzzle was difficult to achieve which made it difficult to continue onto other things. Hopefully you’ll have better luck than I did! 🙂
MasqueradeEscape Room MadnessEscape roomIRLThis room was one you won’t forget! There were tasks in this that were very unique! It took body movement to unlock a puzzle which was a fun first! Visually stunning and the puzzles flowed nicely within the story.

A game where you must be attentive of space and sound along with great puzzles and a fabulous set design. Great story as well!

Lost CityEscapology - HolmdelEscape roomIRLWe didn’t finish the first time around but it was so interesting that we played it again because we needed to see the end. Really feels like you’re lost in an old world. A part is in the dark so the use of flashlight is a must. Symbols everywhere. Lots of decoding which was somewhat difficult at first to but really cool and rewarding once you have it figured out.
Vegas HangoverEscapology - HolmdelEscape roomIRLIf you don’t have fun in this room this room then I don’t know what to tell you! It was straight to a trip to Vegas without getting on a plane! You had to dive into a mission which was exciting. Some puzzles were easy sailing while others took a bit more time and matter of perspective. A chronological order puzzle which was fun to do at crunch time!

It flowed nicely. A room where I saw different types of puzzles that I haven’t seen before. Highly recommend a shot at this room.
The AnomalyThe Other Tales Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLA white room with lots of layers. Real world logical puzzles and lots of pop out surprises. Both high tech and mechanical puzzles. I found it to very challenging and wished I had more time! So if you’re up for something a little more difficult this is definitely the room in my opinion.
The Dungeon13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRLYou need at least 4 players for this game. You start off blindfolded and are escorted into a single cell. Being split is was a first for us. What a thrilling challenge! You really have to communicate and work as a team to get out and into the room. Once you’re out there is a lot of running around so be prepared for an adrenaline rush. The puzzles were great and tied in so well with the theme. An amazing experience.
1408 EscapeBrighton AsylumEscape roomIRLRoom 1408 is just that, set in a hotel room. The design was creatively creepy that fit the theme perfectly. So if you’re looking for something a little spooky this is perfect. Beware of a handful of red herrings so I wouldn’t spend too much time on a task if it isn’t going anywhere. Also an audio puzzle or two that would make it difficult for the hearing impaired. But overall a great room!
