Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLMy bestie and I tackled this game this morning and I have been hearing its highest of praises for over a year now. He swears by this game, it’s in his Top 10 games, and now it’s in mine as well. You guys, this game was absolutely incredible. The attention to detail, the immersion, the humor, the twists; truly I could go on all day. I loved every second of it, and I’m so happy this got to kick start my extraordinary journey in Florida. If you have the opportunity to come to Florida, please please please PLEASE stop at Exit Games in Clearwater, these games are one of a kind. And you will not be disappointed.
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLI JUST PLAYED MY 50TH ESCAPE ROOM! ✨ My best friend and I jumped into this game, and once again, this game is also on his Top 10 games , and once again, it also is now in mine. Y’all, this game made me want to get a new tattoo so badly. I could dawdle on for hours, but this room is unlike an escape room I’ve played before and I am so happy this got to be my first milestone game. The immersion, the creative energy, the ambience, set, design — They do escape rooms so much better than anyone else I’ve seen, and they truly know what they’re doing. It combines such amazing theming, puzzle flow, and etc. The perfect mix of scary and utterly fascinating. Please jump on this game if you can, I could not speak higher of it.
Quest For The Temple of LightThe Keepers of BalanceEscape roomIRLWe made it to Keepers of Balance this afternoon to play “Quest for the Temple of Light” and my god, that completely blew us away. I’m not even sure how to review it; truthfully I’m speechless. They’re doing something so special over there. From set and design, to simple yet thought provoking puzzles, the live character interaction, and physical interactions … They’re changing the game. So happy we got to experience this, I’ve been changed for good. Can’t wait to come back and see what other games they’re cranking out.
Phantom Files: The Investigation Of Lockturne ManorThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLLove love LOVE playing Phantom Files. It’s the perfect mix of spooky and classic camp — Think of it as if Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo had a baby. Puzzles were thoughtful yet not overwhelming, ambiance is perfect, scares and spookies are just right (there is some pure darkness that caught me off guard, but still really immersive). Big shout out for my game master and live actor, Nathaniel; his characterization of the Frankie was honestly one of the best interactions I’ve had in a very long time. From his body language to use of vocal styling and characterization, he set the tone. Overall, I think that this game is a great room for all people from young to old, to test the waters of escape rooms with spooks and scares. You’re gonna love it.
Click 'N Glitch Arcade PalaceThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLI had to opportunity to play Click N Glitch at The Escape Ventures in Port Charlotte, and y’all, let me just say, that was so much fun! The ambiance, the puzzles, the attention to details, and the immersive energy from my game master (yeah, he does happen to be my best friend, nbd) — It was all so enjoyable and a great time, even as just a solo player. I highly recommend coming to play this game with your friends if you want to be seriously challenged and want to test your brain.
Nightfall: Creature At Camp DeadwoodThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLI had to pleasure of playing Nightfall: The Creature at Camp Dreadwood this morning, and it felt so good to have some spooky time. I love a good spooky moment. Nightfall truly does have a level of mystery, fear, and well, CAMP, haha. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the puzzles were very creative, and the character driven parts that made it sooo enjoyable. It gave me “1980’s cabin in the woods, something is out there to kill you” vibes and I lived for it.
RipperNocturne AdventuresEscape roomIRLI’m from Los Angeles, so my best friend and I, we made a dedicated trip out here to play these games, and my god, I had no idea what I was expecting, but it definitely set the tone and raised the bar in this community by a lot. Coming down a suburban road to literally someone’s home, to play a horror escape room that is built in their basement might freak some people out, but don’t let that deter you from coming. The owners, Nicole and Tom, are incredible; some of the most loving and professional owners I’ve ever met. We bonded with them immediately. Now … let’s get to this game: We did the scary version (Rated R), and let me tell you, it was scary as hell. This is half escape room, and half immersive horror theatre/haunt … They had us running, hiding, screaming, and on edge every single moment. From the gritty and well planned puzzles, to the gory design that truly feels like life or death, you won’t be disappointed as a horror lover. The Ripper is here and he’s out for blood. And you better not let him find you, or you’ll be next. Please go play this game, it is one of the BEST horror escape rooms I’ve ever played in my life. It’s worth the trek, worth the time, and you can tell that they put their entire heart into this place and it shows. They all deserve their flowers. Go go go go gooooo!! I mean it, GO!
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI had such a blast playing “Playground” at The Escape Game Orlando! This room was pure fun from start to finish — the setting really made me feel like I was back at recess, running around and playing like a kid again. I loved how interactive it was, with puzzles that weren’t just about thinking but also about moving, searching, and doing. The variety of challenges kept our team engaged, and the design of the space was colorful, clever, and full of little surprises. If you’re looking for an escape room that combines smart puzzles with a playful, energetic vibe, The Playground is an absolute must-do.
Legend of the YetiThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLI absolutely loved playing Legend of the Yeti at The Escape Game! The design was beautiful and full of fun little details that really pulled me into the story. The puzzles were super clever, flowed really well, and kept us engaged the whole time. I also thought the live actor element was such a smart touch — simple, but it added so much to the overall experience. Even though this is technically an overlay of their older game Gold Rush, it honestly feels fresh, new, and completely its own thing. Everything — the set, the puzzles, the story — works together perfectly to create such a fun adventure. Definitely one of my favorites they have! ✨
Bruno's BistroCheck Mate - Land O' LakesEscape roomIRLWe did this game on a whim, and I knew nothing about it — Currently on a trip from Los Angeles to come play a bunch of escape rooms with my best friend and we loved it. My friend speaks Italian and wouldn’t stop living his full Italian fantasy in this bistro. The ambiance, the detail, the puzzles, and all the fun moments set this apart from so many other games. I’ve never seen a game like this and we loved every second. Bruno’s Bistro and Checkmate Escape Rooms is a major hidden gems that needs to be given their flowers.
