Room 1985The Locked InnEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed this room as it had a really unique aspect that we've only seen one other time that blew our minds the very first time it happened! The theme is on point and so many super funny cute puzzles!

Mayan TempleRed Button EscapeEscape roomIRLThis was an okay room, but certainly not as good as the ratings indicate. There were a lot of traditional locks which don't necessarily make sense in the context of a Mayan room. Everything was logical but nothing exceptional.
Polly's Problematic PredicamentNexus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI saw some stuff in that room that I've never seen before for both puzzles and... toys. It was just so unique, a can't miss if you're comfortable with adult themes. You will probably never experience another room quite like this. The owner and game master was so fun to chat with.

The DreamscapeThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLI think this is actually only a 45-minute room but it was in one word 'clever.' There were some unique puzzles, but the immersion into a dream world is sooooo well done and I always appreciate some fun word play. Logical puzzles as always from these folks. As all rooms at this location the first couple puzzles are in a shared area that then breaks off into a private space for that room. Don't expect to chat up the employees about escape rooms though.
Super Sanitary Double Dog Dare Ya! [Live Game Show]In Search Of An ExitEscape roomOther This is NOT an escape room... But it is an equally good way to spend 60 minutes. In search of an exit quality executed with the same humor and fun encapsulated in owner Patrick! This was literally everyone's favorite activity that we did for the time that we were in Portland which included multiple highly rated escape rooms on Morty as well. I don't really want to give anything away but there are a bunch of rounds where there is a quiz and then a super fun activity or two related to round theme that will have you absolutely laughing, challenged, and undoubtedly entertained. Best for a group of four. A lot of questions are aimed at folks around for the 80s or 90s, but playable by all. I would recommend this as a must do activity if you're in Portland!

The ApothecaryThe Lodge of Lazarus CroweEscape roomIRLA solid room from trapped's new adventure the lodge of Lazarus Crowe which is an old funeral home turned escape room/bar. It's a unique concept to have some shared space where you complete puzzles possibly at the same time as other teams doing different rooms before moving to your dedicated room. The puzzles were very solid and had some unique twists. No old school locks anywhere!!! Only a thumbs up because it was more of a beginners room so you'll probably get out pretty quick too. Still a ton of fun though.
Cheesie's Pizza Party60 to Escape - SchaumburgEscape roomIRLWow wow WOW!!!!!!!! This room was off the charts knock your socks off good. Someone said it was based off of five nights at Freddy's but I honestly got Chuck e cheese vibes which made me really happy. This had a huge variety of puzzles, all of them logical and literally not a single throwaway one. Even for an experienced escaper and we've done over 300 rooms. Absolutely no doubt that this is going to fall in our top 10 rooms ever. There was so much uniqueness and challenge that blew us away. We completed it with just two people with over 13 minutes left so definitely possible by a duo but it was quite a challenge. You have to go to 60 to escape if you are in the Chicago area, it's worth the visit to the suburbs! Make sure you book in advance especially on weekends as they tend to fill up quickly in the busy mall

Magic Heist60 to Escape - SchaumburgEscape roomIRLVery cool room with tons of unique on theme puzzles!!!! Some wow moments sprinkled with clever and physical puzzles that let you be a magician and create that elusive immersion factor. Word of caution that there is one loud puzzle for those with sensory issues, but you can move past it quickly with a hint.
LegionEpic EscapesEscape roomIRLVery fun room overall and very logical! It was well suited to our skillset. A couple well layered puzzles to challenge an experienced escape artist. The owner Glen was wonderful and fun to talk escaping with afterwards. Can't wait to see what the next room looks like here!

The Sins of Doctor FaustusCaptivating WorldsEscape roomIRLMorty got this one right! This was our favorite room in the Columbus area. It was incredibly immersive and you can't beat that feeling of beaming with success where you can't wait to leave do you can talk to your fellow escape artists about your favorite things. The owners tech and haunted house background really shine in this masterpiece. Lots of fun puzzles, no red herrings, and enough light in some places that I managed. Seriously so fun!!

This room was the most cohesive with the puzzles matching the theme and scenario that you never question this new reality. High tech and fun, I highly recommend any room with captivating worlds!!!

Meant to focus on Thanksgiving and collaboration, it's a real challenge for just two people, but definitely possible as we made it through. Cute puzzles that were an absolute treat to complete. I appreciate an escape room that can incorporate joy and humor so elegantly with an impending clock!!!
The Genie SuiteRomantic Adventure Getaways Escape roomOther This is not your typical escape room experience!!!! It's for couples and requires a lot of crawling and sliding. That out of the way, this was an incredible experience, not meant to be timed but more to just solve puzzles and enjoy the company of your significant other and make lasting memories together. Out of the three rooms, this room had the most creative puzzles that led you to unique experiences including a massage room and photo op room. There is a sensual component for sure and you do spend the night here. It was well decorated and the wow moments kept coming one after another. Amazing experience for a couple!!!

The puzzles were unique and fun for experienced escape artists and we brought along a couple newbies who were thrilled. Unparalleled, this is the best escape room company in Portland. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!
