Jail BreakStirling Old Town JailEscape roomIRLOur GM Callum was great. Really enjoyed all the surprise elements and the added task of working out the mystery plot. Great historical location! Despite what other reviews say, the GM is not in the room with you, there are cameras to ask for help and we found the flow quite logical.
Colby's Curious CookoffColby's Curious Cookoff - OnlineEscape roomVirtual This was a wonderful online puzzle hunt with multiple clever “aha!” moments. I’m new to this kind of game and it took me a while but was so worth it!
Fairground FelonyClue Cracker - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Not as good as the haunted house game this company does but still an ok experience.
Philosopher’s StoneBlack 11Escape roomIRLGreat building, really lends itself to the theme. A lot of teamwork needed for some puzzles which delighted our 6 and 9 year old and also lots of dressing up opportunities. Really unique leaderboard system too that we were delighted to join.
Celtic Challenge RoomsWildlandsEscape roomOther 2 adults 2 children and this was hands down one of the best escape room experiences. Just so good and varied. We immediately wanted to do it all over again! If in doubt - just book!
Escape the AirplaneAlexa Stoked Skills - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Frustrating requirement to repeat prompts and constantly being kicked out of the game meant logging back in a lot. Need to be able to google some details / externally knowledge check!
The SurgeryLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLFantastic GM Matt. Managed as just a 2 with no clues. Really brilliant theme and lots of surprises! One of my favourites.
The Disappearance of DJ McDeeClue Cracker - OnlineEscape roomVirtual Super quick free online game to pass a short amount of time.
Museum HeistEscape LivingstonEscape roomIRLReally good room with lots of different mediums to work with. Seemed quite bare and basic at first but the atmosphere really kicked up a notch. GM was lovely. Was quite a tricky room for just 2.
Mansion RoomThe Room - Riddle Rooms GlasgowEscape roomIRLI, along with 7 complete escape room novices, managed all the trials and tribulations of this room despite a couple hiccups that the GMs put right asap, without affecting play. Felt really well looked after and everyone got equally involved. Huge room. Lots of puzzles. Splitting up was key!
Escape from the MuseumProfessor PuzzleEscape roomTabletopGot this in a set with space station and movie studio. This was definitely the weakest of the 3. A few puzzles were repeated which was disappointing.
Piggy BlindersDivergent Games Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGood mix of physical and logical puzzles. Really good theming and set. Enjoyed getting the treat at the end!
St. David’s Escape RoomSt. Davids Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAn amazing St David’s theme room(s) with multiple different puzzles and you have the option to choose 3 different difficulty levels. Kids of any age are welcome, as are dogs apparently!! It was brilliant and the farm that hosts it is beautiful. Well worth the trip out. We did this one and the outdoor low ropes escape course back to back. Kids loved that one more!
Low Ropes Escape [Outdoor]St. Davids Escape RoomEscape roomOther Amazing outdoor escape “room”. Never done anything like it. There’s 3 difficulty levels to choose from. It’s shaded and welcomes kids of all ages. Our 6 and 9 year old loved it. The farm that hosts it is beautiful. Well worth the trip out! We did this one back to back with the indoor escape room which was also brilliant!
Bug Out: The Last ShelterPanIQ RoomsEscape roomIRLOhhh this was a brilliant room. Charlotte was a lovely and enthusiastic GM. Lots and lots of multilayer puzzles with lateral thinking needed. You’re collecting specific items for surviving a storm rather than just plain escaping. Very clever use of different mediums and ultimately it got the better of our team of two. We were so close. Wish we could do it again!
Dolls HouseLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLHad so much fun in this room we thought we went way over time! You get really invested in the storyline. Lots of clever tricks too.
Sherlock Holmes - Phantom's HourWolf Escape Games-OnlineEscape roomVirtual Fun online game with a big twist. Really excellent sound and graphics FX.
