Jail BreakStirling Old Town JailEscape roomIRLOur GM Callum was great. Really enjoyed all the surprise elements and the added task of working out the mystery plot. Great historical location! Despite what other reviews say, the GM is not in the room with you, there are cameras to ask for help and we found the flow quite logical.
Philosopher’s StoneBlack 11Escape roomIRLGreat building, really lends itself to the theme. A lot of teamwork needed for some puzzles which delighted our 6 and 9 year old and also lots of dressing up opportunities. Really unique leaderboard system too that we were delighted to join.
The SurgeryLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLFantastic GM Matt. Managed as just a 2 with no clues. Really brilliant theme and lots of surprises! One of my favourites.
Museum HeistEscape LivingstonEscape roomIRLReally good room with lots of different mediums to work with. Seemed quite bare and basic at first but the atmosphere really kicked up a notch. GM was lovely. Was quite a tricky room for just 2.
Mansion RoomThe Room - Riddle Rooms GlasgowEscape roomIRLI, along with 7 complete escape room novices, managed all the trials and tribulations of this room despite a couple hiccups that the GMs put right asap, without affecting play. Felt really well looked after and everyone got equally involved. Huge room. Lots of puzzles. Splitting up was key!

St. David’s Escape RoomSt. Davids Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAn amazing St David’s theme room(s) with multiple different puzzles and you have the option to choose 3 different difficulty levels. Kids of any age are welcome, as are dogs apparently!! It was brilliant and the farm that hosts it is beautiful. Well worth the trip out. We did this one and the outdoor low ropes escape course back to back. Kids loved that one more!
Bug Out: The Last ShelterPanIQ RoomsEscape roomIRLOhhh this was a brilliant room. Charlotte was a lovely and enthusiastic GM. Lots and lots of multilayer puzzles with lateral thinking needed. You’re collecting specific items for surviving a storm rather than just plain escaping. Very clever use of different mediums and ultimately it got the better of our team of two. We were so close. Wish we could do it again!
Dolls HouseLocked In GlasgowEscape roomIRLHad so much fun in this room we thought we went way over time! You get really invested in the storyline. Lots of clever tricks too.

Mystery RoomThe Room - Riddle Rooms GlasgowEscape roomIRLThis room was “OK”. Quite small and our team of 3 got out quite quickly which always seems like you don’t get your money’s worth! Wasn’t quite a satisfying end like you get usually with escape rooms.

Magic ForestXcape Room / X-Escape Room GlasgowEscape roomIRLAs a team of 2 this was my 8yo daughter’s first escape room. The theming was good - like Alice in Wonderland. Thankfully she absolutely loved it and the staff were really lovely with her, however there was unfortunately a lot wrong with the room. One of the first puzzles was impossible to solve due to an essential missing piece, the GM had to enter the room to add it in, claiming it had been missed during the reset. Then the batteries on the walkie talkie ran out so we had to leave the room to tell them, completely breaking the immersion. A key fit more than one lock and we were advised that was a mistake. Then the last puzzle/reveal looked very tired and badly glued together as previously broken. As I say, thankfully my daughter had a blast but it put me off coming back here.
