The decor was just MWAH 💋and the puzzles were on theme. It was great, fun, and doable with a group of two. Love, love, love this room. Betty is an ICON!!
The Bank of Australia HeistEscape Hunt - SydneyEscape roomIRLSwung in randomly to play whatever game they had available and we got the bank heist room. I had 0 expectations going in, but this was a perfectly good and perfunctory room that’s a mix of tech and old school. We were told this room was on the harder end of their games, but I didn’t feel it was difficult to the extent we were warned about. Overall, I actually enjoyed the experience a lot! Perfect for small groups.
Eternal NightBE EscapeEscape roomOther This is not an escape room. There are NO puzzles. It’s even listed on their website as an “Escape Theater/Immersive Horror” experience. Do not go in expecting to solve anything. I think the majority of the low reviews here on Morty is due to the expectation that this is ER because it’s listed as so on here. Again, this is NOT an escape room. What it is, though, is definitely an experience. It’s not a haunted house, but rather think of it like LARP with horror elements taking part in a hotel. There is a story, there are characters, and you play a part of it. There are 3 actors in this experience and the man that plays March was absolutely incredible. Top notch acting and great job herding us around. If you haven’t done something like this before, I would highly recommend trying it at least once. Lots of scares, some cool tech and effects, and for my group, we had lots of screams and laughs. Not really for the faint hearted, but I’m usually a chicken (I got jump scared by one of those blowy hand driers 10x in a ER once…) and I was fine.

The AttractionPalace GamesEscape roomIRLWhat a fantastic room! Difficult to do with the minimum, I expect, unless you're all experts. I went with the maximum amount of people because we were not all experts or enthusiasts. Attraction is undoubtedly one of my top five (as of 2024) rooms I've ever done. The set is amazing, the immersion is on a whole other scale from what I've ever experienced, and the puzzles are so fun! They make sense and they flow very well. Everyone gets to participate so even if you have the maximum amount of players, no one is doing absolutely nothing. So much love and care (and money) have been poured into this and I can say without a doubt that it's really paid off. Play this room if you get the chance!

Well, I had a great time because he saw a puzzle and just went WELP, WE'RE NEVER GETTING OUT but I did it! The staff was also very nice to us, but when we went, there was construction happening around the place so the location was difficult to find.

GM was very kind and attentive even though there was an arcade sharing the walls and children were running around everywhere outside.
The GiftRed Door Escape Room - San MateoEscape roomIRLMy group and I didn’t make it out, partly due to the fact we had a faulty reset that prevented us from moving forward. We didn’t get the minutes back for it and trying to flag down a GM was so difficult; it certainly felt like no one was paying attention to our game and when someone finally addressed our problem with the reset, it really took me out of the immersion. However, I will say the room flows well, the set is nice, and the puzzles range from simple to boss level puzzles.
The SacrificeMission Escape George StEscape roomIRLIt’s a big room, very nice set, fun atmosphere, but some of the tech was broken when my group and I went. Two puzzles in particular didn’t work for us and the staff tried to gaslight us about them when they were very clearly non-functional. Despite that, I still had fun in the room. My group had a lot of gripes about the broken tech because this was the second time something broke for us at Mission. Hopefully they’re fixed for future players because the Sacrifice’s set is very well done and it’s a fun enough room that I’d recommend for those that can handle a light horror experience.

Ex LibrisNext Level EscapeEscape roomIRLI love this room!!! First of all, I am a book nerd so to see all these different books being referenced in the room was amazing! The puzzles themselves made sense and were very much on theme. It’s not like this room’s puzzles does anything particularly different, but the way they are presented and done is so charming, I can’t help but just rave about it. I love the narration as well. I was so happy when I finished. I just love everything about this room; the set, theme, the puzzles, everything! Definitely one of my top rooms I’ve played!

Wizard's QuestEscape Hunt - SydneyEscape roomIRLCompleted this room with a party of 2. It’s just a incredibly basic escape room with very simple puzzles. The room is very small and the amount of puzzles aren’t a lot either.
The Sound Of MurderBeat the LockEscape roomIRLYes, it’s an old room, and yes, the props are falling apart, but I can forgive that. What I can’t forgive is the puzzling. We had a hard time determining what clues went to what lock. Nothing was clear and there were also leaps in logic that didn’t make any sense.
