The AlchemistSherlockedEscape roomIRLI don’t really know where to begin. This was the best overall room I have ever done. I’m completely blown away and fear this will become a standard I will measure all other rooms by. The team here put together something truly special and I can’t say enough good things about. I don’t care if you hate escape rooms, you will love this room. The only way you won’t love this room is if your inner child is dead. It was epic.
Phantom Files: The Investigation Of Lockturne ManorThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLSo much fun and worth the trip! Not super hard, but fun and challenging and overall an awesome experience.
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLI can’t say enough good things about this room. A wonderful mix of theatrics and puzzles, I wish the experience could last 2 hours. Go all in and have a blast!
Click 'N Glitch Arcade PalaceThe Escape Ventures - Port CharlotteEscape roomIRLThis room is so much fun and a great twist on the typical escape, because you’re staging a break in! The GM was great and does a great job of acting a couple of different parts which added to the immersion. We love an escape room that clearly cares about the experience and gameplay, this room definitely exceeds our expectations.
The Reading WitchDeadlocked Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAbsolutely incredible and a must go if you’re in London. It’s worth the train ride, Reading is quaint and this Escape Room company is fantastic. The story, the acting, the puzzles, there really is something for everyone. Don’t miss it!
The BasementIntense Escape - Tampa LocationEscape roomIRLReally fun, the puzzles are not super hard, but the scare factor is through the roof. Sophia was our game master and did a fantastic job. We loved the room and can’t wait to do another one here!
Basement 2 Mama's HouseIntense Escape - Tampa LocationEscape roomIRLSuper fun, super scary! There are lots of puzzles and rooms, which is great, but the constant tension that the antagonist creates is really where the fun is at. Much better than a haunted house, this will get your heart pumping and your brain reeling! Have fun, we did!
The Pet ShopRiddler's Escape - OxfordEscape roomIRLI’m going to start by saying that we love Riddlers Escape rooms and frequent the Tampa location and have loved every room we’ve done with them so far. This room was fun, HOWEVER, about 15 minutes in we encountered a lock that the key (which was the same color as the lock) wouldn’t open. We assumed it must be for another lock (there was another similar smaller key lock nearby but it was a different color). We tried the other lock and it was clearly wrong, so we both tried the first lock again, multiple times, and kept saying out loud that the key didn’t fit and it seemed like something was wrong. We moved on and completed a couple of other things we still had to work on, but soon came back to the lock. We tried again and decided we needed a hint (we had not taken a hint at this point). Well the hint told us to find the lock we were already working on. So we told the game master it wasn’t working. He paused the game and came in, sure enough it was switched by someone and the key did not work for that lock. After about 5 minutes he found the correct key and we moved on. The thing is, we had wasted at least 10 if not 15 minutes on this stupid lock, it cost us a hint, which was the only one we used, and then the GM had the nerve to tell us we missed the cutoff time for the leaderboard. Are you kidding me? We wouldn’t have missed the board if it hadn’t been for their mistake switching the lock. Not happy with the experience or the GMs clear attitude about it. Honestly, a good GM would’ve picked up on the fact that we were trying that lock for way too long. If he had been watching us play (which I guarantee he wasn’t because he told us he didn’t see us trying the lock and that he only saw us try it in the wrong lock, total BS if he was actually watching) then we would’ve crushed the time, as it was we only missed it by less than 8 minutes or something. So annoying, such a crappy way to handle it by them, and a terrible mark on an otherwise fun escape room company. Sadly we won’t be going back to this location in the future.
Detective LockwoodRiddler's Escape - TampaEscape roomIRLFun game, but word to the wise: the story on Morty didn’t match, I think this is the continuation of the previous story for Detective Lockwood. That didn’t really matter to us as the puzzles were fun, not too hard, but definitely had some challenges. The GM was fun and helpful, one more at this location and we’ll have done them all.
Mr. Elegoo's Enchanted EmporiumThe Ocala EscapeEscape roomIRLFun, not many locks, but plenty of puzzles. Cool atmosphere and good effects. We enjoyed it a lot.
