RockstarCityscape GamesEscape roomIRLExcellent room, one of the best integration of puzzles and theme we've seen yet! Puzzles and solutions were fun and innovative. We're pretty experienced and really enjoyed it with 2 players. The owner/designer Daniel was super nice, we got to chat about the backstory of the game/lore and he clearly takes a lot of pride in his work and put a ton of love into the design which really shows! Highly recommend!
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLFantastic room! Early escape room style, primarily mechanical. With tons of parallel puzzles and a huge space to work with. The theme and puzzles were integrated and rooms were all thematic and in line with the plot. This is one of the older rooms that I hadn't yet gotten to, and it still holds up marvelously, highly recommend. You will want 4 players minimum just to be able to cover all the ground and easily can work for even larger groups.
The Tears of FreyaMystic Escape Room - DenverEscape roomIRLThis is an absolutely incredible room, the build quality, design, puzzles, and mechanics were all extraordinarily well done and well integrated with the theme and plotline. Beautiful and satisfying combination of tactile and high tech. Justin was a fantastic GM, he came in special and early for us after I booked the wrong day and was a delight to chat with about the room and other rooms. We've done almost 100 escape rooms and this may have been the best!
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLVery well constructed room, immersive and well done. Our GM Audrey played three roles excellently and was fantastic adding to the atmosphere. The puzzles were varied and different. And the system to enter the other room was so clever and well executed.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - Rancho Cucamonga [prev. at San Bernardino]Escape roomIRLThe room was fantastic, and large full of parallel puzzles, but the game at the time I played it was a mixed group which was not clearly communicated.
Becoming Butch Cassidy21 Keys Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLReally fun puzzle flow, fairly linear but logical a with a good variety that requires good communication and teamwork. Theme was consistent
WarlockedQuest Room - KoreatownEscape roomIRLInteractive room with a lot of small parallel size puzzles, would be great for kids or larger groups with less experience. Theme was cute fantasy and had clever interactive elements. The room is very visually and texturally enjoyable and well built but our run had a bit of a mechanical hang up. Puzzles were fun and good in number but were more simple than challenging.
The PerfumerQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLTop notch atmosphere and quality of room. 10/10! The puzzles theming and story flow were 10/10 as well but the puzzle solutions were a little fiddly 7/10. The room itself was very well built and felt very solid and real with a lot of fun surprises! PJ was an amazing GM and her French accent was flawless :D!
Vampire HunterEscapeWorks Denver - Convention CenterEscape roomIRLExcellent build quality and attention to detail in theming, well crafted room. Fun variety of simple to medium linear puzzles. Some of them a little tricky but all leading to the final climax. Recommended for newer/mixed xp small groups. Linear puzzles meant only 2 people could reasonably work at a time.
