Enchanted LibraryAmazing Escape Room - MontgomeryvilleEscape roomIRLIt was good. Some fun puzzles. We were just 2:10 off the record time with four of us. Weren’t even really trying to go fast.
Legend of the LeprechaunOff Center Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAnother awesome room from off center. A great set and fun variety of puzzles. Erin, one of the owners, is always a blast to talk to before and after the room. I hope at some point they make another room because their first two have both been so good.
Fall Harvest13th Hour Escape Room - WhartonEscape roomIRL13th continues to make large and impressive sets and escape rooms while still maintaining immersive environments with good puzzles. The main difficulty of this room comes from the size. If you aren’t good with notes then you will be running all around a lot more.
The CursedOperation EscapeEscape roomIRLReally cool theme and set. Some neat technology usages. Was linear, but that was great for just two of us.
The PharaohKlues Escape RoomEscape roomIRLIt had some fun puzzles, but a few puzzles felt like they weren’t working properly. Also not the biggest fan of the fact they have one employee that is supposed to be running the entire place (3 rooms and front desk). The help system is neat in that you have to use a phone to call them, but they then might be busy doing something else or they might not know what you need help on.
The HideoutEscape. on QueenEscape roomIRLA very well done room and still held up well even though it’s apparently one of their older rooms. Good flow, good puzzles, good set.
The TavernEscape. on QueenEscape roomIRLOverall a very good room with cool story elements and a great opening puzzle sequence with a table. My group did feel like it fell off a little bit after the table, but it could have also been fatigue since this was our third room in a row.
Super Plumber BrothersAmazing Escape Room - Trappe [prev. Escape Trappe]Escape roomIRLA little bit of a silly, goofy room that I mostly tried for the novelty of the theme being into video games. If you aren’t really into the theme then I would just say avoid it.
Exhibit Sea: Secrets of the DeepEncrypted Escape - West ReadingEscape roomIRLGreat tech, a variety of puzzles, and great set design. While it is 75 minutes I think a lot of groups can probably do it in under 60, especially larger and/or experienced.
Otherworld Philadelphia [Immersive Art]OtherworldEscape roomOther Felt like a neat once and done thing to experience.
Bunker 071EscapopolisEscape roomIRLThey aren’t wrong when they say it’s their hardest/most challenging room. While none of the puzzles were extremely difficult there were just a lot of them. You really need to divide and conquer to successfully complete this room. So just be prepared if playing with a smaller and/or less experienced group. Still highly recommend as it is a good room.
Neon Tokyo: escape.exe PathEscape.exeEscape roomIRLThey aim to be very immersive which they do well. Great set design, cool uses of technology, and some good puzzles. I also like how they use the same space for two different versions/paths of the room.
Revenge Of The Serial KillerBates Motel Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLGreat set design, some cool puzzles, and a fun ending. There was no timer in the room and the guide didn’t seem to know what our time was either when we got out. Their rooms are public bookings with the option to make them private.
The Treehouse - CLOSEDEscapopolisEscape roomIRLA cute and fun smaller room. Done with 2 players using 2 hints and about 14 minutes left. I think 3 or 4 players max would be best group size, depending on experience. Also probably a good room for younger kids who might be interested in escape rooms.
Little Apple SpeakeasyOff Center Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAn extremely well done room for their very first escape room. Felt like it was very balanced difficulty wise. Love how the story of the room has a tie in to the actual history of the area in Easton. We got to speak with the one owner Erin. She was a blast to talk to and the passion for doing this really shows.
Budapest ExpressEscapology - GarwoodEscape roomIRLA good room with a neat set design. As other reviews have said, moving items around in this room can possibly hamper you for the final puzzle if you don’t really remember where you got stuff from and I think that’s what ultimately made me go with like it over love it rating on here.
Candy WorldAmazing Escape Room - EdisonEscape roomIRLThe room was fine. Had a fun design/setting. Fairly linear. Some neat puzzles. There were a few things they could probably do to improve the room and make it a little better. There was what seemed like remains of an old puzzle (that the gm didn’t even know when asked about at the end). There was also a puzzle that had no instructions that could have been hard to figure out what to do if someone in our group wasn’t already familiar with the puzzle.
Nuclear FamilyBig Screen Escapes - Mt. PoconoEscape roomIRLFirst room with the company. The lobby was very nice. They give you a physical Polaroid copy of your group photo at the end as well as taking a digital version which is really cool. I also like the digital leaderboard they have. The room itself is very well themed and decorated, although is a little on the smaller side and felt fairly linear. My group of 5 with decent experience felt that most of it was done by just two of us. Overall still a good room and enjoyed it. Plan to check out the other rooms at some point.
2084 - CLOSEDOlde City Escape GamesEscape roomIRLA really cool and well themed futuristic/dystopian room. Had some unique puzzles and challenges that I really enjoyed. It is a 6 player room max that I played with 6 players. It didn’t feel too crowded in there and felt like most of the room everyone was pretty actively involved without much standing around and doing nothing.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - GarwoodEscape roomIRLScooby doo theme was really cool. It is a smaller room though and very linear so larger groups may have people just standing around not doing things at time. Played with 6 and that felt like too many.
