Nightmare at the MuseumPuzzleWorksEscape roomIRLJustifyably well rated and reviewed. If you're looking for immersion, atmosphere and story AND good puzzles, this room has a really fantastic balance. Do note that there will be jumpscares! Our GM, Laura, did a great job at really bringing this room to life, and there are multiple moments that feel straight out of a horror movie with you as the unfortunate protagonist.
The HospitalPuzzleWorksEscape roomIRLWhat a ton of fun! Experienced puzzlers, DON'T skip this room just because it's on the easier side; take it as an opportunity to go in, have fun, enjoy the jokes and atmosphere, and just have a good time. Also, this had some of the best use of space I've seen in an escape room ever.
Loose SleuthPuzzleWorksEscape roomIRLWhat a ton of fun! I love how 'classic' this room felt and flowed, and like the other rooms at PuzzleWorks, the immersion, storyline and surprises were all stellar. I have to compliment this room for the strong theming as well; lots of great little aha moments and rewarding points that make it a delight to play through. I particularly enjoyed how grounded and plausible it felt, like something that could conceivably exist in the real world.
Escape The 90'sThe Quandary Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLExcellent room, with a pretty smooth puzzle flow and a really great theme! Great setup and how accurate it felt to the 90s; this came off as a room made with a lot of love. Would rec for smaller groups (we did it as a pair and it was pretty comfortable). This room feels old school but in a good way, and is well worth it if you're in the area.
Board to DeathThe Quandary Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLPretty unorthodox room in terms of how it's set up! I'd call it hard but fair, and I genuinely enjoyed the thinking behind it. Although it's doable as a pair, I'd suggest 3 to 4 people given the amount of things that can be done in parallel and challenges which may need more than one person to have a go. Well worth doing and very engaging, with really solid theming. This one is definitely for the puzzle-lovers.
