Mystery at Cook ManorGranite State EscapeEscape roomIRLEverything worked! Staff was nice! Not a terrible room by any means but on the easier side. Not particularly remarkable after you’ve done a few escape rooms. We’ll still go check out their other rooms.
Magician’s SecretMagic Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLMy husband and I fully loved this game. The passion that the game creator has for escape rooms came through in this room. It’s not unnecessarily hard and the theme is well incorporated. The puzzles are novel and interesting with lots of neat tech and no busy work or scavenger hunt type mechanics. I also appreciate that it didn’t rely on darkness to make things more difficult. Also it’s in a great location. We had a great time.
Deadman's BountyLocked & CodedEscape roomIRLThis room was exceedingly okay. Pretty middle of the road. The set work was pretty nice but the puzzles often didn’t have a very satisfying solution. Not bad.
Wizard ChambersTickers and TimbersEscape roomIRLWith a few escape rooms under our belt, I can confidently say that this was one of the worst escape rooms we have ever done. I struggle to be so definitive, but truthfully way too many of the puzzles were broken, and those that weren’t broken, didn’t make a lot of sense. Some things were held together with duct tape. There was virtually no storyline. At one point we wanted to just stop playing and walk out which was an unfortunate first for us. Operator acknowledged there were issues but was not in any way apologetic or accommodating. I can’t say I recommend it and honestly won’t be trying any of their other rooms.
At The Hop Ice Cream ShoppeDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLSuper cute theming. Lots to do. A little tough for two but doable if you’re experienced and don’t get stuck.
Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis is probably in our top 5 escape rooms. It’s not very large or too difficult but it’s very creative and I love the execution of the theme. Plus the tech was used in such neat ways. What a cool room. I was impressed. So far all the rooms at this location have been great. I plan to come back and finish the remaining ones.
Captain Spoopy Bones and the Magnificent Quest For Some Other Pirate's Treasure!Doldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLDoldrick’s never fails to impress. I’ve been to bigger, more expensive, flashier places and yet I still think about this place because you can tell the creators of the games love this and put a lot of effort into their straightforward yet novel experiences that are theme driven, funny, and creative. I’ve never walked away from any of their rooms feeling any of the puzzles were unreasonable. The set work is spot on. And while captain spoopy bones was not my favorite room played there thus far, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Polly's Problematic PredicamentNexus Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSo this was not one of our favorite rooms, but it’s always fun to see someone’s passion project and this is clearly one of those kinds of rooms. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the hard work and effort that went into making this room.
Scooby-Doo™ and the Spooky Castle AdventureEscapology - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThis room was very fun, however, kind of easy for two somewhat experienced escape room enthusiasts. We got out with 10 minutes to spare and I didn’t love that some of the puzzles had blatant instructions on how to complete them. I would recommend this room for beginners, fans of scooby doo or groups with kids as the IP and set lends itself nicely to little ones.
Operation Dive - CLOSEDExit Escape Room MiamiEscape roomIRLPretty neat story and incorporation of theme but overall not one of the better rooms we’ve done . Some of the puzzles were poorly done. Challenging to properly come up with the answer because of puzzle imprecision rather than because it’s too challenging to figure it out. Many times labels spelled out what they want you to do. In a good escape room, you should be able to reach and figure out things organically with a riddle or context and not because a label tells you what to do. Some of the tech was cool. Our game master was nice.
Stolen RelicWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLWe completed the Christmas story room and recognized these were top notch rooms and immediately booked stolen relic which was better in our opinion. Fun room. Cool tech. Great setwork. I would’ve done a third room the same day if my partner would’ve agreed. So far it’s in my Top 5 escape rooms in Orlando.
A Christmas Story - CLOSEDWill To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLHad a great time. It was both our first Christmas and movie themed room. We hadn’t seen the movie which I think made it a little more challenging but it was still very much doable. Despite its challenges, we loved it enough to do another room at the same location the same day. High tech, great setwork. I’m sure fans of the movie would love it even more. All in all, will to escape is a must go. One of our favorite places in Orlando thus far.
Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLThe rooms here are great and we had a blast but be warned that the storyline of this room is pretty dark and may not be for everyone.
Bubba’s Basement BargainsThink Escape Games - Orlando [prev. Escape Hatch Orlando]Escape roomIRLI liked it quite a bit. We take weekend trips to Orlando to do multiple escape rooms and this was a good warm up. Very straightforward room. I appreciated that it was mostly a well lit room. A bit easy but it was cute. We had a good time.
Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLNow that we have a few escape rooms under our belt, one’s like bros for life stand out for the use of higher tech and some reasonable dexterity puzzles. Set work was impressive. Definitely on my short list of places to go back to and check out other rooms.
Spoopy's Ghoulish Graveyard GameshowDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSuper cute and well thought out. Great for fans of Halloween that aren’t into scares. Had a blast.
Puppet Heist: The Hand Of LifeThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThis was the first room we played at the bureau and we loved it so much we came back and played their other two rooms (at the time) within 24 hours . This is not your typical escape room. There are no locks. It’s more of an adventure and you need to figure out the tasks you need to complete to advance the story. It was a very immersive experience for us—you really feel as if you’re a character in the plot more than any other escape room has made me feel. It’s not overly challenging and thus would be good if you wanted to bring children maybe 8+. Very different and fun for experienced escape room players and newbies alike. The bureau has some of the most elaborate rooms we’ve done when it comes to set work and tech. All in all would definitely recommend if you want a more chill/less challenging but still very fun experience.
Servants of SleightThe Escape Ventures - Clearwater [prev. The Exit Games]Escape roomIRLOver one year later this is still the escape room we tell everyone we can about. Truly exceptional. Really fun and well thought out. Awesome set work and high tech puzzles. A great time.
