The Weeping Witch
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room
IRL
This is by far one of my favorite escapes. I’ve actually done it twice now, planning on doing it a 3rd with co-workers, and every time it gets me excited and nervous! The design is amazing, and VERY immersive. The scare factor was on point, wish there was a little more but still loved it all. For the 2nd time I went my group was celebrating a birthday and I called ahead to see if the staff would do anything and they did! Shoutout to Lucas? I think that was his name, he was amazing! Definitely recommend this for a group of 5-6, something for everyone to do.
The Hex Room
Cross Roads Escape Games
Escape room

Hex is a great room if you like solving stuff on your own but still under pressure! I have been both detective and rebel and all the puzzles for the room are creative and well thought out. The nice thing is this room you can do it multiple times since there’s many roles you can do! Definitely one to recommend!

Whitaker was a good room! I liked how clever the puzzles were, there was about 75% technology and 25% basic lock and keys. I personally like more technology type puzzle then basic lock and keys. I came with a group of 6, which i’d say is ideal, a little less could be good, around 4-5 people so it’s not so chaotic. Overall loved the room and definitely planning on coming back to do Headcase.
The Silence 1
The 13th Room
Escape room
IRL
The design seemed good and the immersion of the room was on point, however I wish the puzzle were more complex than what you actually do. The scare aspect was good, didn’t seem to get as scared as I thought and would’ve liked. Without spoilers I wish there was more technology involved to make the puzzle cooler. There was one point that was really cool, but I feel that’s the best part out of all the room. At the end our GM seemed monotone about it all, didn’t seem to have much energy. Overall there are better companies out there that more worth it.
Cosmic Crisis
The Escape Game - Orange
Escape room

This is a VERY immersive room. It has a lot of moving parts and the way you ask for hints is fun and will make you laugh haha. My group had to do a little out of the box thinking, one thing we had to do seemed so wrong to do but it’s needed to be done. Overall great room definitely recommend!
The Hide
Escape Room Era - Anaheim
Escape room

One of the scariest rooms i’ve done yet! The thought of live actors, solving stuff in dark and the music changing constantly made my brain not work well haha. That’s what makes it more difficult yet enjoyable. Definitely a lot of running around finding answers as well as hiding. The ending of the room still has me shook even today! Definitely recommend a small group if you want to have a good chance to be scared, but also go with people who enjoy being scared to make it more fun! Thanks Chris and Logan for a fun time!!
