One thingβs for sure, you donβt want to be on Krampusβs list! If you find yourself being bad this year and hijacked to Krampusβ lair, I hope you have enough confidence and skills to escape. Haha.
This escape room was a perfect immersion of puzzles, physical movement, the use of a live actor(s), and teamwork. We had a lot of fun playing this together because of how immersive, intense, and suspenseful it was! Once again, the live actors did not harm any of us, but they did grab, pull, and drag you as this is a full contact experience. (But all fun and games!)
I played this with a large group of people, and we chose normal mode (no tasers, but lights out and full physical contact). If youβre new to escape rooms and donβt have a lot of experience with horror themed escape rooms, I would recommend normal mode.
If youβre looking for a festive horror themed escape room with a large group of players, get yourself on the naughty list and be transported to Krampusβ Lair! Youβll never want to be a naughty kid ever again!
This gameplay was a lot of fun and flowed smoothly with one another. Once again, this escape room has less puzzles that are not super challenging, but become more difficult because of the high intensity and pressure of the live actor, full contact, and darkness.
You can definitely tell that a lot of detail and love went into Krampusβ Lair. From the set design, the special effects, the music and sounds, the props, costumes, and everything else, you were fully immersed in the story! Even asked more questions afterwards of the design and implementation of the costumes, and live actors as we were truly impressed with the detail of everything!
Our GM was very attentive to our needs and responsive! He gave us vital hints to solving certain clues when we were stuck and maintained a perfect blend of theatrical storytelling along the way.
