This room is really cool how everyone gets assigned a specific character in the story. It was pretty thrilling and some rooms were scarier than others. I’d definitely go back again so I can play a different role in the story. It’s great for big groups 👍

Irvine School Of Wizardry And The Dragon Wand

If you are a Harry Potter fan you have to check out this escape game! As soon as you begin you get your very own wand to cast spells which was super cool. The spells only work if you say them out together with your team. We had so much fun and the puzzles were very immersive. We really loved the look of the rooms, it really felt as if you were in a different world. 10/10, would do this again 👍

13th Basement

This room is by far one of my favorites!! First of all, the game master was super friendly and the waiting room has a ninja turtles arcade game, so can’t go wrong there. This room was very suspenseful and a tad bit scary. There are multiple rooms and you do get split up from your group. The fear factor for this game was a 10 but it was still very much enjoyable. I do have to say the experience was more enjoyable because you are encouraged to take pictures and you can even video record throughout your game play, which is normally not allowed in other rooms. There is also one thing that happened during our experience that I’ve never experienced in an escape room before that made this one of my favorites. If you’re looking for a thriller escape room to enjoy with your friends, please go check out the 13th Basement, you will not regret it!

If you love adventure then this is the room for you! It really felt like we were in a castle and it was so much fun climbing and crawling throughout the room. EscapeX has some of the best rooms in the OC area. Definitely check them out!

This room was so much fun! It really made us feel like we were back in school. I really enjoyed all the tech that was put into this game. When you get to the second room, it’s literally a playground. It was such a great time and perfect for larger sized groups.

The Silence 1

Just want to start off by saying that this room was really great, it starts as soon as you enter the building. The set design and props were well thought of and the puzzles flowed well with the story line. Our live actor did an amazing job at scaring us and really did his part in keeping us immersed in the story. The only downside to our visit was that we had a late start and I mean LATE, we booked the room for 11pm, we were there at 10:45 and our game didn’t start until about 11:30. If you’re looking for a scary room, this is definitely one to try 🫣

This room was so scary! Not for the faint hearted. It was very dark and yes there is a live actor throughout the whole game. The puzzles weren’t too difficult but with someone running after you, it can make it a little hard. My group had so much fun during this room. There was a lot of screaming and running around but it was worth it. Go check out Zoe if you are looking to get scared for an hour lol

This was the first game that I played at The Escape Game and it just made me want to go back and complete the other games they offered. When you walk into this room you’re immediately immersed in the story just by the scenery of the room. It was so much fun and even has a plot twist in the story. I really enjoyed this room and would recommend it to anyone who’s thinking about adding this room to their list.

I would recommend this escape room to anyone, it was such a blast and we had so much fun. We had a large group and it was still accommodating. Very immersive and the puzzles were so much fun. The Escape Game did it again with this one ☝️

This room was fun but challenging, you do get assigned a role before the game and your friends have to figure out if you are insane or not. It was very interesting and we were all pointing the finger at each other. You will have fun with your friends in this room for sure

Red Lantern Escape Rooms

This game was so much fun! You get to go head to head against your friends and even get to sabotage them a bit by slowing them down, I won’t spoil it too much but it does have a bit of a fear factor to it. Overall, I would recommend this room and their other room that Red Lantern offers as well.
