497 escape rooms
The owner said that this was originally intended to be just a seasonal Halloween room but it was popular enough to stick around, and I can see that. This is a pure puzzlefest: there is a story (you need to assemble the playlist for a house party being DJed by the Grim Reaper) but in terms of gameplay it is just a series of independent puzzles to solve, each of which gets you one “track” for the playlist. The room is deliberately designed so that each puzzle is both physically and visibly self-contained. You can do the puzzles in any order you want, so a larger group could finish very quickly by dividing the room up, but where’s the fun in that? I suggest playing with 2-3 tops so that everybody gets to work on everything. The puzzles are mostly easy, but there’s a good variety and the final metapuzzle was entertaining. Recommended.

Spooky
Corny spooky (in a good way) as opposed to creepy or scary spooky. Yes, Death is the DJ. But the game is not macabre. Think more “Young Frankenstein” and less “Nightmare on Elm Street.”

The GM is in the room with you and you will interact with them frequently, but I wouldn’t say it rises to the level of a “live actor”.
Somewhat
There are several larger physical puzzles that would be difficult for wheelchair users or children to manipulate. No climbing or crawling but I would say you need at least one able-bodied adult.
