The Flaming PearlEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLIf you only have the chance to do one escape room at Eclipse Escape, this is the room I recommend you do. It isn't my favorite, but it is a masterpiece unto itself. There is a lot to do, but do not worry because the puzzles make sense. This is not the kind of place that wants to make you feel dumb; the rooms are challenging, but just the right amount of challenging. They can also adjust rooms for you, and they take requests to a reasonable extent. One great thing about Escape Eclipse is they are upfront about the difficulty of their rooms, and I find them to accurate. This room feels like "concept room" rather than being a mere "story room." One more thing, when I missed an effect because my partner was working on it while I worked on something else, the game master came out at the end and offered to show it to me. Great customer service, a great room, a great experience.
The Abandoned CarnivalPadlock'd Escape roomIRLThis is by far the best escape room Padlock'd offers, and I have done every room they offer (and they gave me a special pin for that, which I love). This room is big and often reserved for bigger crowds but they graciously allowed just me and my fiance to do it; we were willing to pay for empty slots. there is so much about this room i wish i could spoil, but i won't. however, if you think this is a mere escape room, you are mistaken. it contains a multitude of rooms and experiences that accurately depict what it would be like to be trapped in a carnival. some of the experiences are the kind of thing that other places would charge separately to experience on their own. This room is great for families. It is a little spooky, but it is by no means scary. It is fun, and the "fear factor" is on the level of a mild Goosebumps novel. I highly recommend this room.

Ruins: Forbidden TreasureThe Escape Game - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLthis was the first room i ever did, and it is still one of my favorites. i have heard it said that nashville is the best place to experience this room, but this location was fantastic. the set design, decor, video, immersion, and effects were all exceptional. this room, and the incredible game master who helped us changed my world. i am now obsessed with escape rooms and have done over 50 and counting in just two years. through it all, this is still one of my favorite rooms.
Blackwood ManorEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLThis company really cares about their escape rooms. My partner and I have done multiple escape rooms on multiple continents, and this was one of our best experiences. The rooms are quite large, and while that is something this company likes to highlight on their website, it isn't the best thing about their rooms. (Don't get me wrong, the size is nice, but there are even better aspects!) IMHO, the best parts were the puzzles themselves and our gamemaster, Maja. The puzzles we encountered were unique and directly aided the story in a believable way. These puzzles made us feel immersed in the rooms narrative rather than like we were merely opening locks. Our gamemaster, Maja, was outstanding. I am hearing impaired, and she took the extra time to repeat the opening set up for me and made sure she spoke into the microphone that led to my hearing aid, so i could hear her. She gave us clues that made sense but did not feel patronizing, and her excitement was infectious. We did a room late in the evening, and it was frankly impressive how much energy she had. You can tell that this isn't just a job for her; she genuinely loves escape rooms. If you are considering doing one of Eclipse Escape's escape rooms, I highly recommend you give them a try. Oh, and one more thing: The room we experienced was called Blackwood Manor, and while it was a horror themed room, the company has options to tailor the room to make sure it is only as scary as you want it to be. For example, live actors are optional, the lighting level can be either turned off, dim, or bright, and they check to make sure you are okay with certain elements that particularly sensitive people might find unsettling. Don't let trepidations get in the way of a wonderful evening; the people at Eclipse Escape have your back. In conclusion, both this company and Maja have earned my trust and my partner's trust, and we look forward to returning.
Gold RushThe Escape Game - Pigeon ForgeEscape roomIRLout 60+ escape rooms, this is quite possibly my favorite escape room that i have ever done. i high recommend it. the puzzles aren't easy, but they are not impossible, just ask for clues. the theming is brilliant, and the game masters at "the escape game" are amazing, including here. do yourself a favor and seek out this room. i heard a rumor that they might start closing it and replacing it with a yeti room. if so, don't miss out, do the room now!
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - Myrtle BeachEscape roomIRLthis is one of the most creative rooms i have done. kids around the ages of 12-17 might enjoy this room more than others due to the tech and the story. i recommend this room.
Retro RevengeEclipse EscapeEscape roomIRLThis is Eclipse Escape's spookiest room. I think the highest compliment I can pay this room is that I did it twice. Once just me and my fiance, and then a few months later with my fiance's friends on his birthday (escape eclipse hid birthday surprises throughout the room.) The puzzles in this room are clever and creative. They were truly put together by a mastermind. While some of the puzzles were hard, none of the puzzles were impossible, and all of the answers made sense. This is a brilliant room for escape enthusiasts and beginners alike. I cannot recommend this room enough. There is an option scare-actor available for this room, but we opted not to utilize the scare-actor. This room does involve restraints and blindfolds during part of it, but you will be treated with dignity throughout.
The FreakshowPadlock'd Escape roomIRLOut of all of Padlock'd's horror-themed escape rooms, this room and "Nightmare" are my two favorite horror-themed rooms of theirs. The scare actor is option and fun, and we had a great game master. Some of the puzzles an answers were extremely creative, and I would consider this room to be among Padlock'd's best offerings. If you can only do one "horror-themed" escape room at Padlock'd, this is the one I would recommend.
Prison BreakThe Escape Game - Myrtle BeachEscape roomIRLthis is one or my favorite rooms i've ever completed, and i have completed well over 50 rooms. please give this room a try if you can. it is hard, but if you get stuck, the ending is worth attempting it again. this was everything an escape room should be. as for the difficulty itself, we found this room easier than some of the escape rooms that the escape game ranked as being easier, but it is still hard, and so i would recommend you go into it to enjoy the room itself rather than with a competitive mindset.
