So much fun! This was the first room our group did that had so many twists and turns. The only critic is that some of the surprises are weight based so if you're a thick queen/king like me you don't get to have that experience. Otherwise the decorations and theming are really cool!
Wrecked
Masterpiece Escapes
Escape room

If you have done Missing from Masterpiece Escapes, this room is basically Missing 2.0. Masterpiece upped all of the horror and surprise elements in Wrecked and then fixed any issues that they had with Missing inside of Wrecked. If you have never done a room at Masterpiece before and can only do one room choose Wrecked, as both room have similar game and story beats. Missing is still worth the play if you have the time but Wrecked is definitely the more polished of the two.

Have you ever wondered what the Haunted Mansion would be like if it were an escape room? Well look no further than Nevermore! It's just the right amount of thrilling ambiance with a mix of spook and intrigue to keep you going. Don't let the weird location of Nocturne throw you for a loop and take the plunge into Nevermore!

So much fun! The puzzles fit into the theme really well and the GM really gets into character. I'm excited to go back and try their other rooms!

DO NOT LET THE ADDRESS FOOL YOU!! Within a simple residential home is one of the scariest escape rooms I've done so far. (One of our team members almost hyperventilated to the point of passing out due to fear.) The Nocturne team has more than a decade of experience in the haunt field and IT SHOWS. (One of the owners use to be a mortician which has helped to create accurate scenes if you catch my drift.) If you are an avid escape room goer play on Super Scary and DON'T LOOK BACK!!

I think this is the best permeant holiday room I've been to. If you're looking for a good Christmas themed room I can't recommend this enough.

Escape Artist does it again with Classified - a great room for a small group of enthusiasts! If you've got 2-4 people, and love/hate cats, this is the room for you!

So, low key this room takes A LOT inspiration from a very popular show that takes place in the 80s. (It rhymes with Danger Wings if you catch my drift.) I didn't make this connection until half way through when certain puzzles started HEAVILY IPMLYING certain connections which were very much legally distinct from the aforementioned show. That being said, even if you don't like that show or haven't watched it (like me) the room is tons of fun! It's still got some nifty surprises hidden within and it really throws you into the 80s. If you're looking to do an escape room in NYC I'd definitely recommend this one!

Now look, I know this was during COVID so the attraction was heavily vetted to protect both attendees and haunt employees. The problem is that even though I paid for what I assume was a heavily discounted VIP ticket it still was not worth my money or time. First, after they scanned your ticket, you got ushered into a line to be slowly released down in groups to the actual haunt wait area so everyone would still be 6ft apart from each other. This was IMMEDITELY FORGOTTEN once you got to the waiting area as the lines were not organized in any way and people were everywhere and on top of each other. Secondly , as part of the VIP package you got two free add-ons from the haunt, of which my group chose chose Ax Throwing and their 5 minute escape room. Ax throwing was ax throwing - fine but the cages rattle more then I would have liked. The escape room was TERRIBLE. First, the line for this room was MASSIVE and no one was social distancing in this line either. When my group finally got to the front we were told we did not have 5 minutes, but in fact we had 3 MINUTES because they were so busy. The person who I assume was suppose to be the GM told us that not only could we not get any hints but the only info we were to get was one vague sentence about how to solve the room. Once inside the room was so dark you could barely see anything and by the time you finally got your bearings to figure out how to solve the room time had run out. THIS ROOM WAS AN ADDITIONAL $15 IF YOU DID NOT HAVE THE VIP PACKAGE. I would have been LIVID if I had paid that much for that experience. Finally the haunt portion of the attraction was just only okay. Even taking into consideration that COVID forced a heavy decrease in scare actors and interactive elements there was still nothing so spectacular that you couldn't have found in another haunt. VIP also allowed for us to enter in a separate line which was nice but you did eventually have to enter with a group of people so it wasn't like we even got to walk with just our group. If you're going here, go during the week and buy a cheap ticket, either after the main season or from a discount book. DO NOT DO THE VIP AS IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

It’s the best room of the company. If you’re an experienced enthusiast you’ll probably breeze through the room, but there are a few fun tricks in there that are entertaining. Overall if you’re looking for a room to do at this company this would be it.
