The Edison Escape Room
Palace Games
Escape room
IRL
The BEST escape room I’ve ever done and our group agreed. The puzzles, the rooms, the story, everything about it was awesome. I can’t wait to go back and do more at Palace Games.
The Ghost Of Mentryville
Arcane Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
I didn’t love this room. At the time of playing this, there was an actor in the room with you (which was tiny to begin with) and it made things kind of awkward. I get why it was necessary to be in there as he was part of the story, the room was just so small and the puzzles were pretty cheap. We escaped and we had a good time don’t get me wrong, but since there are so many other escape rooms, I wouldn’t recommend this one (unless you’re stuck in the Santa Clarita area).
Da Vinci's Secret

Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle
60Out - Melrose
Escape room
IRL
Jumanji was easily the best escape room I’ve ever done. The rooms felt like a movie set and were so well decorated. The puzzles were exquisite and some I had never seen before. I wish I could play this for the first time again. Highly recommend!
Houdini
60Out - Silver Lake
Escape room
IRL
Houdini was an absolute blast! We had a team of 5 and escaped in 26 minutes! We were told by our awesome host that we easily got top 5 in this room. The puzzles were fantastic, I just wish it was a little longer!
Da Vinci's Secret
60Out - Hollywood
Escape room
IRL
Da Vinci’s Secret is great and a pretty challenging room. Lots of puzzles and lots of brain power. Team work makes the dream work and luckily, I had the right team and we escaped successfully. I’ve played a couple Da Vinci themed rooms and this one is definitely my favorite. Highly recommend!
The Other Side
Fox in a Box - Los Angeles
Escape room
IRL
I absolutely LOVED this room! Most of the rooms at Fox in a Box were great (so sad they’re closed now) but The Other Side was brilliant! I had never played a room like this, I got a major Stranger Things vibes from it. At one point you have to work with your team in a completely separate room and you can’t even hear them through the walls. It was fascinating, I wish I could play again.
Orient Express
Architect Escape Rooms
Escape room
IRL
Orient Express at Architect had great puzzles and an intriguing storyline. It was only me and one other person but we escaped. No technical difficulties and our game master was 10/10, very fun. However, walls in this place are STUPID thin. I mean, to the point where there shouldn’t even be a wall at all. We could clearly hear the conversations that were being had in the room next door and could hear the game master giving hints on the walkie. It was extremely distracting and hard to communicate with my teammate. I don’t want to not recommend this room because of that, just be warned you might be distracted or even hear spoilers for the other rooms.
South Park: Cartman's Escape Room
Escape The Room - Glendale
Escape room
IRL
Me and my friends got top 3 in this room! Funny enough, unlike my friends I haven’t watched much South Park so I didn’t know if I’d like this room. I was wrong, this was one of the more fun rooms I’ve ever done. Lots of laughs along the way and some pretty creative puzzles. Especially if you’re a South Park fan, I highly recommend this one!
Amityville
60Out - Silver Lake
Escape room
IRL
Amityville was a decent room for the ‘horror’ enthusiast. The room is very dark and kind of spooky, which carried through the whole experience. There was one technical difficulty which we were stumped on for a while. Our game master didn’t say anything so we figured we did something wrong. When we asked for a hit, our game master asked us questions about the room as if he wasn’t following along with our journey at all. Not a great feeling. We did end up escaping with a couple jump scares. I think if you get the right game master, this room would be great especially around Halloween.
Dracula: The Final Hour
Fox in a Box - Los Angeles
Escape room
IRL
I’m SO sad that Fox in a Box is closed, they had some spectacular rooms, Dracula: The Final Hour being up there. We had a team of 6 and after a few arguments and being jammed in a tiny crawl space, we got out with spare time! The build of this room was awesome, really well made. I hope Fox in a Box opens again, they really knew how to make a great escape room.
