Mission's Breakout: The Ultimate Bank HeistMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLMy boyfriend and I did this room with ease! We usually do escape rooms with 6 players, but I think this one is doable for 2. Atmosphere was good, and some of the puzzles were simple. I enjoyed it!
Project Minotaur - CLOSEDQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLI thought that this room was very complicated in terms of set design. I was very impressed and very immersed! Maybe because my friends and I have done a lot of horror escape rooms, we didn’t find this room to be all that frightening. I think if we were newer escape roomees, we probably would’ve been scared shitless. I also think we finished the room quite fast, it’s supposed to be a two hour room, but we finished it in an hour and six minutes! I think based off of the actor’s script, it led us to complete the puzzles very quickly, also the fact that we weren’t as spooked. I still enjoyed this room very much and would recommend! If you want to be more spooked, maybe talk to the game master before the start of the room, I think because of the atmosphere of the room is already spooky, our actor was taking it easy on us and didn’t spook us as much.
EdelineCloud EscapeEscape roomIRLPeople say this is more of a storytelling room rather than an escape room, and maybe I’m a bit biased because I’ve done “storytelling” rooms before, but I thought this room was pretty “escape roomy”. We really enjoyed the mechanics of this game and the story was very interesting to follow. There were some puzzles we definitely got stuck on but our GM Joseph did great helping us and stepping in when we needed it! Although there wasn’t a scare actor, it was still plenty spooky. The ambiance was enough of a scare factor!

There were a lot of puzzles that had us scratching our heads but ended up figuring out without taking much time. I think the difficulty level of medium is true. There were certain intricacies about the room that I really enjoyed. The GM was very friendly as well. I recommend!
Something's Out There!Maze Rooms - West LAEscape roomIRLThe room was fun, and I enjoyed all the technical elements that the room provided! I think although I enjoyed it, there wasn’t a big wow factor that made the room as unique (other than all of the mechanical and technical aspects of it). Some of the puzzles played into the story pretty well, I think the room is still good and I would recommend it!
13th BasementExit Game OC - AnaheimEscape roomIRLThis was a great room! I didn’t think it was THAT scary but it did have spooky elements. My friends were definitely spooked and screaming. The GM gave us a lot of photo opportunities at the end which not many rooms do. The game itself was really fun! We got stuck on the last puzzle but that’s only because it seems none of us could pay attention 😅 I recommend!!
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLI wish I could heart this room because it’s so great, but I could only give it a thumbs up because of all the technical issues. I’ve played this room three times, and all three times SOMETHING happened. The first time we had to evacuate the room because the puzzle got locked (?) and we couldn’t open the door. The second time a similar issue occurred. Granted, we were reimbursed for it so the customer service was spectacular, but given the previous experiences, playing it a third time just took away some of the escape room magic which was a bummer. I really loved this room, if we didn’t experience all the issues then I would have loved it a lot more.
The Fun HouseCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLWe had so much fun with this room! It’s non linear so we ended up getting distracted a lot of the time, resulting in us frantically scrambling in the last ten minutes. Our GM Ally was so much fun and gave us some of the funniest moments in the game. She even let one of our friends use the restroom because she heard her complain about it! We’ve never had a GM offer before so that was nice. Overall, very fun!!
The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLI love messing around with the actors. Our actor (Diego) was so fun! There were parts where he spooked our group but also made us laugh so hard. He was absolutely amazing!! The game itself was great. It flowed well, although in the first puzzle we got stuck for an unreasonably long time. After the first puzzle it was clear skies. Room was great, atmosphere was great, and workers were amazing!!
The HideEscape Room Era - AnaheimEscape roomIRLThis was such a letdown. The room was more of an annoyance if anything. I can understand using the dark as a fear tactic, but not at the expense of getting the puzzles solved. Maybe we had too many people, but one light to go off of for six people was terrible. This room would be okay for people starting off with horror escape rooms, but even so I don’t know if I would recommend it because the price point is so much higher than other rooms too. There’s an actor as well, but I don’t know if you could even call him an “actor” in the room. It’s not his fault, it’s the concept of the game, but that was a letdown as well. The workers were great though, and so was our GM! It’s more so that the concept was lacking.
Escape The HydeoutMission Escape GamesEscape roomIRLI went with two newbies and we absolutely killed this room. We finished much faster than I thought, so either we were on our A game or the puzzles were fairly easy. We showed up late but our GM was nice enough to give us the full hour (although it seems that we didn’t quite need it!). Puzzles made sense to me and flowed well. Although there was one puzzle that I don’t think was reset properly since the key was out in the open. I enjoyed it regardless!
Cannibal's Den 2.0 - CLOSEDQuest Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLI enjoyed this room! Our GM was very friendly, helpful, and overall great. Super happy with her. This room was pretty difficult though. My group got stumped on a lot of different puzzles and we had to ask for a lot of hints. The puzzles made sense but we just couldn’t connect the dots. Was pretty spooky but not too bad. I would recommend playing with a smaller group since spaces are pretty small.
Hope EndThe Ministry Of PeculiaritiesEscape roomIRLThis was such a fun room! It was giving off immersive theater vibes. The actors were very fun to interact with and all the different rooms were very fun to explore. The start of the game really helped set the tone of what kind of game it would be.
The Mad RapperScenario Escape RoomEscape roomIRLI really enjoyed this room! Some escape rooms have puzzles that don’t coincide with the theme but that wasn’t the case here. Every puzzle intertwined with the theme of the room, and some of them you really had to listen, which was very unique! For those puzzles I wasn’t exactly listening so luckily someone from my group was paying attention LOL Overall, I recommend!
The Bridge BetweenQuest TavernEscape roomIRLI was speechless when I finished played this game. It was so MAGICAL! One of the most magical games I’ve ever done. I thoroughly enjoyed this game, the puzzles weren’t so bad and a lot of them didn’t require many hints. We got stuck on a couple but overall, puzzles were good. The atmosphere was A1. The last room was so interesting to be in and the colors made things extra magical! I loved how we were able to request cutie Milo to join our game, and the fact that he was a puzzle! He was so cute, and he was even helping us with the puzzles too! I HIGHLY recommend this room, you won’t regret it!!!
The Silence 113th RoomEscape roomIRLI don’t even know what to say about this room. I’ve done spooky rooms before but this is the first and only one that had my heart pumping and legs trembling. The puzzles were simple but because of the scare factor we kept getting stumped. I won’t say much, only that I highly recommend this room and that so far, this is the best room I’ve done.

I really enjoyed this room, very immersive, very spooky, and probably wasn’t the best room for a beginner but it was still great. I did the one in Huntington as well and although there aren’t many differences, I would say go to this one instead!

The puzzles were fairly simple, but there were some that our group had to get help on. Overall it was so fun and I would recommend!
Amnesia - CLOSEDQuest Room - Culver CityEscape roomIRLI really liked this room. I think it’s great for couples or a smaller group. It wasn’t too spooky although there were spooky elements; nothing two people can’t handle. I highly highly recommend this room, it’s just so enjoyable! I especially loved the twist at the end. Go play it!
