The Rest Easy MotelEscape Artists - OrlandoEscape roomIRLActually a great little room. Well designed, good flow, we really enjoyed it. Maybe second to Dream in my book.
I Know What You Did Last Summer: The Final Catch - Closing Nov 1Howl-O-ScreamHauntHaunted houseSome of the actors were real cunts. Hard to tell which way to go sometimes because every possible path has sheets and things hanging up, how in the f can we perfectly navigate one hanging sheet route from the next?... When we mistakenly went the wrong way, we were met with a bitch attitude and really nasty response about it.
A Twist Of OzKey to EscapeEscape roomIRLAbsolutely hated the music, super annoying hip hop bs music in a wizard of oz setting. Wouldn't say quite ruined the room, but strongly took away from it for me. With that said I guess it was theme related lyrically in their defense. Aside from that, definitely a solid room. GMs were both awesome for the two rooms, not that it has anything to do with our ratings.
The ButcherTrapped In The Upstate - GreerEscape roomIRLExcellent A+ room on all levels. Loved it. One of our favorites of their builds.
Man's Best FriendTrapped In The Upstate - Inman [prev. Great Escapes Inman]Escape roomIRLA+ build. Great puzzles, great theming. ❤️ all day.
NevermoreNocturne AdventuresEscape roomIRLBeautifully designed, well flowing, top notch room with intuitive puzzles. Rock solid, excellent room 10/10 room.
RipperNocturne AdventuresEscape roomIRLOne of the absolute best haunt based rooms we have ever played anywhere, without question. Most ride on the scare factor alone, while this room put forward great quality puzzles. The scare factor and acting was top notch. Absolutely a must play room... as long as you like scary 😱 I'll also say the owners/actors are SUPER EXTRA COOL!. Mind you we do NOT rate rooms based on people, but it is worth saying.
8-Bit EscapeEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLThe whole room deserves a ❤️ regardless, but the final puzzle was spectacular. Extra unique and wow factor through the roof.
Magician's WorkshopEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLAbsolutely excellent, well flowing, brilliantly designed room. Our favorite at this location.
The Chesapeake Bay ButcherColonial Escape RoomEscape roomIRLAbsolutely excellent room. Unique in it's design, giving you sort of an optical, light directed compass of what to do next. One of the absolute best haunt based rooms we've done in a while. Most, ride on primarily the scare factor where butcher also had great puzzles. Really great, well designed, all around awesome room. Daniel was our GM/actor and was 👌.
Blackbeard's CabinColonial Escape RoomEscape roomIRLWeren't super fond of this room, but loved butcher. 2 puzzles in particular didn't really function well.
Quest For The Temple of LightThe Keepers of BalanceEscape roomIRLAbsolutely top notch room. Beautiful set design, great puzzles, great acting, extra immersive. Checks all the boxes.
A Not So Fairytale EndingLock, Clock, and Peril Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLFantastic room!! On all levels we freakin loved this room. Really over the top set design and brilliant puzzles. All their stuff is very solid, but this one especially, we loved and the alien room as well was great.
Classified: Operation Nine LivesEscape Artist Greenville - DowntownEscape roomIRLWasn't personally a big fan and couldn't understand what all the hype was about EAG. They were so highly recommended and to me the only one that lived up the the hype was Castle Fluffendor. Dark lullaby was good, can't say it was great. All the rest were mediocre.
Sasquatch: Bigfoot's RevengeEscape The NetherworldEscape roomIRLPlayed every room here besides nosferatu and they were all bangers. Highly recommend on all levels. Also, awesome staff who really went the extra mile to accommodate our playing style (no help unless we're behind, make sure we finish) which they executed perfectly. Note, we do not rate rooms based on oh the staff was really nice and all of that bs. Staff was awesome, but the rooms were excellent must play quality.
The Whispering Pages at Blackwood LibraryEscape RealityEscape roomIRLAbsolutely fantastic room on all levels. Checked every box of what a great room should be and then some. SO thrilled to have these new designers on the scene. If this was there first build (which is mind blowing) we cannot wait to see what they'll continue to bring to the table.
Factory Heist: Operation Green BeanEvasive Escape Rooms - SarasotaEscape roomIRLMan oh my god, excellent, top notch room. Cannot rave about these guys enough. Operation Green Bean was definitely 100% enthusiast worthy, but also extremely well designed, well flowing, had great theming, and all around fantastic room for really any skill level. Oh and one other thing, AMAZING utilization of square footage. Room felt huge, given the actual area of the space we were very familiar with of the previous game that was replaced.
