Here’s my humble opinion of what separates good from great to incredible escape rooms: FLOW. Good ones are thematic and challenging. Great ones are intuitive from A to B to C with tech blending into the theme. Incredible rooms put you in the EXACT plotline and order the room wants you to go, enhancing the plot, which nudges you in the right solution direction without needing a clue. This falls between great and incredible. All the puzzles were thematic and difficult, all the mechanisms and tech were seamless, but two important bottleneck clues were too subtle to get without a hint, which was unfortunate. There was a “triggering” device that was used 3/4 times throughout the game, which makes thematic sense and was great subtle tech/mech. However, the correct way to use it was so subtle that only the luckiest/most astute escapists/hint would get how sensitive it was and even when I figured it out, it didn’t necessarily work the first time. Unfortunately the most complex solution came near the end and required 3/4 layers of data analysis to grasp without a hint, and even then, it sucks up a huge amount of time for a solo player. The room is better served by 2, but no more than 3. Other than the subtle solutions, the mech/tech was seamless and the staff are passionate and spent over an hour with me after the game talking shop and showing me insights to the design. Loved them, loved the room, and here’s to more soon.

The intro video was hilarious. Try to spot an Easter egg in the video as well! Room was very well done. Loved the use of tech. The owners were fantastic. They explained the Easter Eggs and how everything worked. They were super friendly and super passionate about their business. Super excited to come back for the second room they’re building.

HOLY CRAP! When I say we left speechless, I mean SPEECHLESS. This room was phenomenal. From the time you enter until the time you get out, IF you get out. The flow of the room was perfect, the magic in it was by far the best. We aren’t ones for all tech, but I’d never turn this place away. Very intuitive, made you stop and think, super immersive all around! Made full use of everything in the room! We love this place!

I absolutely adored this room and left wanting to shout it from the rooftops. The puzzles and mechanisms were genuine magic and I loved every single minute we were in that room. Delighted at every turn, impressed with the ingenuity of the design… Just so wonderful. Cannot recommend this one highly enough.

This game was amazing! Mom and Pop Escape room. The owners are amazing and so nice! Took them two years to build this room and it shows. Definitely a lot of magic here :) Cannot wait for their next room!

One of the most surprising rooms I’ve played! The outside is fairly nondescript which really hides how amazing the room is going to be. The scenic was a little sparse but they more than made up for it with the technical elements and props on display. I cannot wait to see what else they have in store.

HOLY $%&! the be room I have ever played! As a GM at another company, I’ve always evaluating and learning, but this is the first game in a long time I really got to play and have that 1st room feeling all over again! The use of “tech” that still blows my mind clearly lives up to the name of being strange magic! No matter where you are of your experience level, Make the trip! You will not stop talking about it!
