A magical room from intro to end with some surprises in-between! Pay attention or you’ll miss the trick. There were some falling objects that actually did fall onto our stuff in the room, so didn’t really appreciate that so much. Luckily, nothing fell on us. Otherwise, solid puzzles and nice tricks. I love Fluffy! 🐇🐰❤️

SO FUN! The experience started from when we opened the door to the lobby. The staff was very kind and interactive, including in room acting. Well thought out puzzles sticking to the magic theme. Cool and creative multi room experience. A lot of boxes with key locks was my only "complaint", I like a little variety but not much of an issue. The website recommends 4-8 players but we completed it fine with two adults and a ten year old.

It's in the oldest building in black mountain, so there were a couple things with the design where it didn't know if I was supposed to life a carpet square or not. But experience was immersive from the lobby introduction. Not many special effects but magic elements had a large influence on the room.

A phone is provided at one point and it was at 1% battery when we got it. But easily fixed given we all had a personal phone

Jon, the owner and host for our game, was amazing and engaging the whole time. This room is truly a magical experience in ways I can't describe without spoiling it. The puzzles were on theme and signposted fairly well throughout, so we were able to solve them with just a few hints. We had a magical time!

Such a fun magic room! Loved the presentation from our hosts, the extra touches of magical flair in the room, definitely great for kids and great time overall. Would highly recommend you check out!!

Jon (owner/Game Master/Magician 's apprentice) for our game was very entertaining. It was quite amazing how he popped in and out of our game without seeing him leave. The puzzles in the room were fun and challenging but Jon made sure we were able to finish the game to see the fun ending. My wife and I had a great time doing all three rooms at Black Mountain Escape this weekend for her birthday. The atmosphere was very cool as it is set in the oldest building in Black Mountain. It was quite amazing how the rooms were incorporated into the old building. He even included a few fun things into the Vanishing Act game to honor her birthday. Can't wait for the new room to open whenever it is ready (hopefully soon).
