Every corner, every shadow, every locked space around you was built by someone who has been playing this game for a very long time — and you just volunteered to be the next round. The clock isn’t just counting down your escape time. It’s counting down until he comes back. Somewhere in The Shed — hidden, terrified, and desperate — is one of his victims. They’ve been in here a long time. Long enough to learn every secret this place holds. Long enough to map the passageways, memorize the patterns, and understand how his game works. And right now, they are begging you to find them. Your walkie-talkie is your lifeline. Use it. The victim on the other end knows things you don’t — clues, secrets, details about The Shed that you would never find on your own. They are scared. They are urgent. And every transmission they send you is a piece of the puzzle you need to get out. Listen carefully. Because they won’t be able to talk forever.

Me and my friend Lauren did the cabin first and then went into the shed right after Rewards which I highly recommend if you were going to do this escape room. We met up with a third friend and it was super super fun to do it with three because some of the things were tricky and it’s a little spooky sometimes so it was fun to have three of us trying to figure things out.

I would highly recommend booking The Cabin and The Shed (2 different escape rooms here) back-to-back, so that you complete the full story and go straight from one into the other with no break. It’s the ideal way to experience both of these rooms. As for The Shed, the theming was very good at doing what it was trying to do (look like a creepy serial killer’s lair). The puzzles were great too. My only complaint is that we got out with 18 minutes left in this room with only 2 people (2 experienced enthusiasts, but still), so it is not challenging enough. I thought the individual puzzles were challenging, though, so they just needed more of them. If there were more puzzles to fill out our time in this room, I would have given it a ❤️.

It felt like there was the allusion to a story with some of the rooms, but nothing explicitly explained or flushed out. I think The Cabin had much more story going on and The Shed just implied the story you would expect from any generic serial killer escape room you’ve done before.
Difficulty
I definitely disagree with this room’s label of Expert. We got out with 18 minutes left (as a group of 2 experienced enthusiasts), so it was Hard at best, but I would probably say Medium.

We got out with 18 minutes left as a group of 2. If you had more people, you would get to do even fewer of the puzzles, so I wouldn’t bring in more than that.

Definitely some gorey details along the lines of a well done haunted house around Halloween time. Might not do much for some folks and might totally gross out others, depending on how you are.

10/10 recommend The Cabin Room over this one. First thing I HATED, was there was no room timer so you had absolutely no sense of time, and this really messes you up to know how much you’ve ate up on one puzzle if you’re struggling. Did manage to find the bonus puzzle in this room as well, which had a redeeming quality of feeling like the room was being smarter than me. 😂
