The shed was our third in our five room marathon. The puzzles were solid and there is a bit of crawling. The puzzles weren’t too hard. Easy bonus puzzle. Solid set design. Lots of fun transitions between the rooms.

You weren’t looking for The Shed. You were running from The Cabin — desperate, panicked, looking for any way out — and The Shed was right there. A way out. A place to hide. You ran straight for it. That was exactly what he wanted. Because The Shed is not a hiding place. It is his hiding place. This is where the killer comes to play — and the game he plays is Hide and Seek. His rules. His territory. His timeline. He will come find you. Ready or not. The moment you realize what’s happening, everything shifts. You’re not hiding in The Shed. You’re trapped in it. Every corner, every shadow, every locked space around you was built by someone who has been playing this game for a very long time — and you just volunteered to be the next round. The clock isn’t just counting down your escape time. It’s counting down until he comes back. Somewhere in The Shed — hidden, terrified, and desperate — is one of his victims. They’ve been in here a long time. Long enough to learn every secret this place holds. Long enough to map the passageways, memorize the patterns, and understand how his game works. And right now, they are begging you to find them. Your walkie-talkie is your lifeline. Use it. The victim on the other end knows things you don’t — clues, secrets, details about The Shed that you would never find on your own. They are scared. They are urgent. We did the back-to-back with The Cabin and the transition was so smooth with a live actor "guiding" us between the rooms. Some in our group didn't realize we were on to the next game. We brought in our walkie talkie from The Cabin accidentally and had to return it to a staff who was cleaning up the room after us. The continuation between the rooms was seamless and the only challenge was trying to complete the challenge in the crawlespace. Later we had to return to the first shed room via the crawlspace because of an important clue for the last room.

The problem here was the GM. He wasn’t paying attention, and then when we escaped, nobody was waiting for us. We had to say Hello several times to find an employee. The room itself was creepy but not scary. Well done puzzles that were mostly Gen 1 style. There is crawling and confined spaces, so if you don’t like that, you should skip. No real jump scares though.

Me and my friend Lauren did the cabin first and then went into the shed right after Rewards which I highly recommend if you were going to do this escape room. We met up with a third friend and it was super super fun to do it with three because some of the things were tricky and it’s a little spooky sometimes so it was fun to have three of us trying to figure things out.

I would highly recommend booking The Cabin and The Shed (2 different escape rooms here) back-to-back, so that you complete the full story and go straight from one into the other with no break. It’s the ideal way to experience both of these rooms. As for The Shed, the theming was very good at doing what it was trying to do (look like a creepy serial killer’s lair). The puzzles were great too. My only complaint is that we got out with 18 minutes left in this room with only 2 people (2 experienced enthusiasts, but still), so it is not challenging enough. I thought the individual puzzles were challenging, though, so they just needed more of them. If there were more puzzles to fill out our time in this room, I would have given it a ❤️.

It felt like there was the allusion to a story with some of the rooms, but nothing explicitly explained or flushed out. I think The Cabin had much more story going on and The Shed just implied the story you would expect from any generic serial killer escape room you’ve done before.
Difficulty
I definitely disagree with this room’s label of Expert. We got out with 18 minutes left (as a group of 2 experienced enthusiasts), so it was Hard at best, but I would probably say Medium.

Definitely some gorey details along the lines of a well done haunted house around Halloween time. Might not do much for some folks and might totally gross out others, depending on how you are.
