The Starlight Motel

If there were more hearts, I would give them. We loved loved loved this room and bought a motel keychain to commemorate it. This was such a great experience and knocked our #1 room down a notch to take our personal top spot. Loved the whole environment and it had some amazing puzzles.

Starlight Motel was a great blend of actor interactions, horror, and puzzling. Smaller but detailed sets, real running, and jump scares. Plus, puzzles? 😱 scary good time!

Top tier experience! Cannot even begin to explain how awesome and immersive the room is. Highly recommend to anyone that’s not too afraid to risk their lives in a seedy motel. Amazing actors and amazing service along with having great puzzles. Don’t want to give anything away because everyone should experience this themselves!

Wow, wow, wow! What a stay! 🏨🔑 This was truly a five-star escape room experience—although, given the circumstances, I’m not sure I’d recommend staying the night. This room may not have an abundance of puzzles, but it definitely has plenty to keep you busy. And the set design? Absolutely phenomenal. Easily some of the best I’ve seen so far. The attention to detail made the whole experience feel incredibly immersive. This was also my first escape room with an actor in the room, and I’ll admit I was a little skeptical at first. But they were so professional and convincing in their role that I quickly checked those doubts out at the front desk. It added an awesome layer to the experience! I especially loved how the room seemed to expand as we uncovered more clues, making it feel like there was always another room—or another surprise—waiting for us. All in all, this was a killer stay. We came to check in, solve some puzzles, and hopefully check out alive… and somehow, we managed to do all three! I absolutely cannot wait to book another stay with this business. 10/10 would check in again—assuming they let us leave next time. 🗝️🏨

Omg - that was so much fun! I would pay to just hang out with Connor! He made this experience. Although a spooky experience with some jump scares, we laughed so much. One of my all time favorites!

This room was more story-driven than puzzle-driven. The puzzles were decent but fairly straightforward, and there wasn’t a lot to do compared to other escape rooms. If you enjoy immersive storytelling and atmosphere, you’ll likely appreciate the experience more than those looking for a puzzle-heavy challenge.

I have waited 3 years to do this room and I absolutely loved every second of room. The ambience and immersive atmosphere was amazing. Set design and puzzles were some of the most creative that I have ever seen. I loved interacting with the live actor was super cool and fun. I just loved everything about this room and it exceeded all of my expectations. 100% in my top 5 rooms of all time. I will never forget this room. Our guide Conner was amazing as well and really made our experience the best it could be.

I’m still in awe of how incredible this experience was. Thomas (as Lou) made this game even more incredible for us. The design was so well thought out, the puzzles were incredible, and I was so immersed in this story. It definitely got my heart racing because I was SO in it! Thank you, Escape Artist Greenville Downtown and Hampton Station for hosting us for 7 of your games in 2 short days. We had a blast!

That was such a fun room!! Well done guys! Top 10 rooms we have ever played and we have played over 100!
