“Tortugas was one of the top games on our Spain trip, landing around #4 (of 37) for me. Astonishingly large set with lots of great details (though admittedly not the hardest theme). Great solid thematic puzzles, great sense of exploration, and a memorable ending. Good nods to the source material as well. I didn't love some of the (what I assume is) AI-generated art on screens - it felt out of place.”

“Golden Pop’s rooms are a very high level and this was no different. Super impressive set design and does the Indiana Jones theme justice The only minor negatives were the slightly confusing English translations and difficulty hearing the GM’s clues over the noise of the game, but it is still well worth your time and money”

“Smells! This room had different smells depending on the location/setting for each part (not relevant to gameplay) but such a lovely touch! Added another level to the immersion.  We really enjoyed this game, found it a good level of difficulty, looked beautiful and fantastic host.”

“As horror noobs, we chose to play this in Tension Mode, and I am happy we did. The tension was high, but knowing there were limits to the interactions made it feel safer A great atmosphere, fun puzzles and good interactions! A huge part of what made it great was the fantastic job our GM did. The only downside for us was that it was hard to hear instructions and story beats through the walkie-talkie, which sadly took us a bit out of the setting and mood. Other than that, it wad a lot of fun, and another one I’m happy we included on our Spain trip!”

“Ahh... to steal drugs in Mexico again! (TIP: Read the plotline ahead of time if you're not playing as a native Spanish speaker. The plot is explained in an acting sequence at the beginning, but the English was just OK, so some of us lost the thread. But reading it in hindsight, things make more sense!) Not a top room by most's standards, although I liked it much much better than (imo) some surprisingly high rated "top" games in this city... Not sure how some games can spend a million euros on a game, but a game like Narcos works so much better). This is an excellent traditional escape room, packed with puzzles, tasks, panels, keys, verticality, horizontality, and a lot of little surprises. A modicum of plot which makes even more sense in hindsight and gives the opportunity for an interaction I'd never seen in a game before (hint: punch!) Nothing broken and a few fun actor (and non-actor) interactions. Everything just worked here. A surprising number of unexpected rooms, twists and turns in the space - a really nice surprise from what otherwise looked like standard escape room fare. This is a good addition to your list if you exhaust the bigger games in BCN. I liked this better than La Mina (And it was a nice respite from the darker rooms in Spain - this room is fully lit with little to no dust!)”

“This was a fantastic room with just the right amount of jump scares, red herrings, easy and also challenging puzzles, and the live actor was great. The room fit-out and atmosphere was probably the best I’ve seen. A little on the expensive side for 2 players, but understand why they need to charge more for less players. Recommend you check it out if in Barcelona.”
