“Been wanting to play this one because I wanted to go with a bigger grouping. We went with 7 but intended to go with 10. Definitely helped having that many with us. I think 7-8 is just right. Lots of fun!”

“I did three games with this company while I was in SF and this was my favorite of them. All three were great rooms but, in this one, the story takes a dramatic twist halfway through which is SO fun, and the second act puzzles are INCREDIBLY fun, involving some high-tech stuff that felt really snappy and well-designed. Did this with two people, and we're pretty sure we went a few minutes over time, haha—the GM very kindly snuck some extra minutes on the clock so we could finish solving the (very cool) last puzzle. Had a blast!”

“Now here’s a real Alcatraz escape room! Don’t get thrown into prison in the fake ones (and I guess, also not the real non-escape room one). This is mostly similar to the regular prison break room, which we had done before. It’s about 40% different, though we still had to ask the GM which parts exactly differed. Overall, still fun, a classic split start prison break with interesting puzzles and tasks. It’s a public room so be sure warned you may have prison mates. We got a private room thankfully, but when we did the original, we were cramped with a group of 6. This game is well-themed for Fisherman’s Wharf, and this specific version is exclusive to SF!”

“Fun room. We've done quite a few "candy" themed rooms and this one had a unique charm to it. The puzzles flowed well and were challenging. One involved a sense that we aren't good with and it held is up a bit causing us to do some guess and check. The GM was nice and they have a good lobby area.”

“This was so so much fun! This was our first escape room with Red Door and we enjoyed it so much that we came back the next day. The GM was great and we loved the puzzles. There was a great flow throughout the game. The last part was difficult for us and we got out at the last minute. Can’t wait to be back!”

“Fairly newer to escape rooms and this one was so fun! I love carnivals and fairs, so this was right up my alley. Some of the games were a bit old and one of the games malfunctioned, so our time had to be paused. Regardless, i thoroughly enjoyed this room and even had a couple Aha moments after putting together some of the puzzles! Great flow throughout the room.”

“Very fun game and one of the best rooms for a group on 7 people! There were puzzles that were made easier with team work and enough puzzles for multiple people to work on at the same time. Which is GREAT! Really cool themed and use of tech wands. lots of magic and well-themed!”

“Very cute room! I'm obsessed with big dogs (not a huge fan of the Scooby-Doo gang, but I love Scooby-Doo himself)! The puzzles were pretty challenging. Very creative theme. I love the atmosphere and vibe in the room. Unfortunately, we ran out of time. I am still in shock that we didn't escape this room. 😅 BUT I still had fun nonetheless. 😊”
