“Motel Betty is a real-deal horror experience, we had a blast! The game features cinematic moments, a sprawling set, and a live actor, all of which come together perfectly. The 4 player minimum is justified, since there’s at least one puzzle that requires 4 people. There are a couple of instances where the group will be separated, which adds an additional layer of tension. The actor did a great job, she really got us a couple of times! Speaking of puzzles, they’re mainly easy-to-moderate in difficulty, which is good because you’ll be looking over your shoulder a lot…you never know when “she” will appear. One puzzle in particular involving a knife is a little contrived, and doesn’t really make any sense in the context of the experience. Also, two of the puzzles require precise color recognition, which is nigh impossible in the low lighting. Luckily one of our teammates had a flashlight, otherwise we wouldn’t have figured them out. Bring a phone/flashlight. Huge 👎🏻 for not allowing us to take our post-game photo in the room itself, instead we got this lame backdrop.”

“Cool Japanese-style horror room that’s a little old now but still holds up quite well. I can see why it was so highly rated back in the day. No live actor but the atmosphere was creepy and there was a handful of fun jump scares. Some of the puzzles and prop design didn’t make the most sense in the space but it’s still a very good game overall.”

“Very well-designed slasher/hotel themed room with great atmosphere and effects. The flow was a little wonky as we had to go back and forth across the various different spaces and it wasn’t always clear what we had to do next. The ending was very interesting — choose wisely, unlike us!”

“Such a great experience! We managed to play The Sacrifice as a team of three and had a blast! Fun, immersive room with great quality props, and a great variety of puzzles. There are a bunch of really fun and high production reveals and some fun unexpected moments. Excited to here they got another adventure coming soon and enough space for several more adventures at this new location.”

“I’m giving this a 9.5/10! This was an amazing room! Super scary with live actors, so if that isn’t your thing, don’t go. But great room, did it with two people and we escaped in just about 55 minutes, out of 90 minutes allowed, so on the easier side. Some cool creative puzzles, great atmosphere, great technology. One of my faves.”
