A young researcher joins an expedition to a newly discovered ancient tomb—but finds himself trapped in a time loop. Every night, the tomb collapses, and time resets. The key to escaping may lie in a mysterious sword buried deep within the tomb—an artifact with strange powers.

“The Tomb is a fantastic room. It’s the most physical room I’ve played in North America. It’s also the only room I really had to squeeze through. I’m a pretty small guy, and can usually fit into smaller spaces with not too much effort, but there were some slots in this room I really had to contort to get through. Not only crawling, but climbing as well. Large scrambles that really do require a decent amount of upper body strength and physicality. Plus some balancing to finish it off. Not for the weak willed. The unique approach to puzzling was a breath of fresh air as well. I have done many puzzles, quite a few I would say. But the puzzles here were such a unique take and clever way of thinking I can honestly say I’ve never seen before. Plus custom wearable tech (Reminiscent of Demise of the Gricers), crazy multileveled puzzling, and cool cinematics? An absolute must play in the Toronto area, and clear highlight of our trip.”

Background story: You and your friends were camping in a remote forest to enjoy the quiet of being away from civilization. One evening while you were chatting after supper you got a radio broadcast message thru your walkie-talkie. "If anyone can hear me, we have a malfunctioning transformation station in your area that needs your help, please respond!" The woman on the radio said. You responded to the call and started a conversation with the woman and was told that they were looking for volunteers in the area to assist them to resolve the issue, which should be as easy as turning off a switch. You also figured that the coordinate of the station was just a few kilometers away. It's weird as you were really far away from the grid and why was there a transformer station so close to you. Although there were questions to be asked, you decided to go. There was nothing to lose for a short hike after a meal...

“The Bunker was the second room we played at Revo, and it was even more thrilling than The Lab. Something about it felt more like a video game than the other Revo rooms…it reminded me of Metal Gear Solid, but without the action. We even had a “handler.” But If you’re looking for traditional puzzles, this room might not scratch the itch for you: similar to The Lab, we had to use or fashion tools to complete various tasks, as well as do some light computer “hacking.” It’s very realistic problem solving, with no escape room logic whatsoever. Pre- and post-game videos do a lot to enrich the narrative, which was surprisingly poignant. The space itself was a very realistic, sprawling bunker, and entering each new room was a satisfying challenge. Similar to the other Revo rooms, there are points given based of the players’ level of success. We did really great right up until the end, which brings me to my only criticism of this game: The room’s final task was frustratingly difficult, since the GM dialed up the difficulty to the highest level. It was a cool mechanic, but pushed to the point of not being fun. We probably wasted about a quarter of our time just on this task. The rest of the experience was really fun and engaging however, and still 100% worth it.”

Have you ever seen a volcano erupt!? Take an aerial tour of volcano island and view a volcanic eruption from the "safety" of the skies. Volcano island is too active to land on, but lucky for you our flyover tour will take you on an unforgettable flight around the island to give you the full eruption experience. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view. What could possibly go wrong on an aerial tour, right?

“I didn’t really know much about this room before playing it…tbh I thought it was all going to take place on an airplane. Turns out, the airplane is just the beginning of the adventure. Volcano Views proved to be a surprising experience, with many unique elements that I haven’t seen in escape rooms elsewhere. It’s family-friendly, but is also engaging enough to entertain our group of three grown adults. The set design doesn’t have the polish of some other top-level GTA rooms (the last 1/4 of the experience def requires some suspension of disbelief), but it more than makes up for it in pure fun and physicality. Even as experienced players, we were surprised multiple times over the course of our journey. Difficulty was generally pretty easy, so I’d recommend a group size of 2-3 experienced enthusiasts. Our GM did a great job and brought an authentic joy to the experience. We had a slight technical hiccup at one point, and she addressed it very promptly. I don’t remember her name, but she was maybe Asian or mixed, tall, with glasses. This woman deserves a raise!”

You are brave firefighters showing up for work like any other day. As you do your daily duties around the fire hall you get dispatched. This is not just any call, this is the call that firefighters will talk about for years to come. You must be prepared for the challenges you are about to face because you are risking your life and the lives of others.

“Puzzles 🧩: 8/10 Set/Wow Factor ✨: 8/10 Story/Immersion 🔮: 8/10 Fun factor 🤘: 8/10 Stepping into the boots of a first responder, this room begins as a seemingly routine day at the fire station before rapidly escalating into a high-stakes emergency dispatch. It is a highly unique theme that you don't see very often, and the ensuing challenges and exploration was perfectly on theme of a rescue mission apt for the title of the escape game. The gameplay features non-linear puzzle design, so it is absolutely a fantastic room for a larger group where players can divide and conquer. As a group of two plus mom's first escape game, we needed more time to solve, but the puzzles themselves were solid first generation style puzzles (lock and key) and weave incredibly well into the overarching story of the emergency response. Overall, it is a very well-rounded, enjoyable room with a great concept. If you can bring a full squad to tackle the multi-tasking, you are going to have an excellent time saving the day!”

The long drive has taken the last ounce of energy out of your group. Your car slowly rolls up to the run-down driveway. If it wasn’t for the large red neon sign that reads Motel Betty, you would have missed it in the thunderstorm. Your group makes your way inside, only to find an empty front desk with a keycard that reads "011." Tired and not wanting to look for somewhere else to spend the night, you grab the keycard and head through the dark corridor. Little do you know, this will be a night filled with horror and insanity.

“Motel Betty is a real-deal horror experience, we had a blast! The game features cinematic moments, a sprawling set, and a live actor, all of which come together perfectly. The 4 player minimum is justified, since there’s at least one puzzle that requires 4 people. There are a couple of instances where the group will be separated, which adds an additional layer of tension. The actor did a great job, she really got us a couple of times! Speaking of puzzles, they’re mainly easy-to-moderate in difficulty, which is good because you’ll be looking over your shoulder a lot…you never know when “she” will appear. One puzzle in particular involving a knife is a little contrived, and doesn’t really make any sense in the context of the experience. Also, two of the puzzles require precise color recognition, which is nigh impossible in the low lighting. Luckily one of our teammates had a flashlight, otherwise we wouldn’t have figured them out. Bring a phone/flashlight. Huge 👎🏻 for not allowing us to take our post-game photo in the room itself, instead we got this lame backdrop.”

“This room was DIFFICULT. But man was the set design pretty and genuinely one of the best rooms I've ever been to. There were a few puzzles that were a tad longer than necessary I felt like (a few too many memory games) - and I feel like it's definitely not doable with 2-3 people as it's very involved and there are a lot of puzzles but still one of the most memorable escape rooms I have ever done. The ending was very heat racing. I think our group of 6 used no hints and finished with 13 seconds left 😂”

“Rating: 4/5 - Lovely aesthetic with enjoyable puzzles Pros: ➕Great looking, immersive set. Decorated floor to ceiling, it has some Disney vibes. ➕Lots of tech, video, lighting, and audio effects. ➕Multiple rooms to explore ➕Puzzles were mostly enjoyable to solve, it was a mix of buttons, RFID/sensors, keys, and padlocks. ➕GM was friendly and helpful when needed. Cons: ➖One puzzle required you do to something unintuitive you wouldn't normally do in any other escape room, though the GM warned us beforehand. ➖The audio for some of the puzzles were a bit annoying, particularly one that played on repeat. ➖Ending wasn't that satisfying. I'd recommend 3 players. There are no jump scares, there is a tiny bit of spookiness but I'd still rate it not scary. No crawling or climbing. My ranking of the rooms I played here starting with my favorite: 1. Grand Wilshire Hotel 2. Steampunk Express”

“Very positive experience! Even as experienced escape gamers we found it to be a lot to do. Probably too hard for its intended kid audience—I don’t think any of the families playing with us finished. For us, we were happily occupied for nearly the full 4 hours. The cast was wonderful and really made it an immersive experience. A couple of the puzzles were duds, but we managed to work around them. A wonderful way to spend most of a day!”

“Fun experience! You get split up into 3 groups so it helps reduce the number of chefs in the kitchen. The live actors were really good and definitely added to the experience. The puzzles were fun and the live actors were good at giving direction if you spend too long looking for something. The only caveat is that you don't get to experience all of the puzzles because you are split into groups. Otherwise, I would recommend this one even to seasoned players”

“Cool Japanese-style horror room that’s a little old now but still holds up quite well. I can see why it was so highly rated back in the day. No live actor but the atmosphere was creepy and there was a handful of fun jump scares. Some of the puzzles and prop design didn’t make the most sense in the space but it’s still a very good game overall.”

Whether you're an experienced escape room enthusiast or a first-time player, these experiences offer an entertaining and challenging activity that fosters teamwork and leaves participants with a sense of accomplishment and an eagerness to take on even more daring challenges.

How Do Escape Rooms Work?

Remember those point-and-click adventure games where you’re locked in a room and have to solve puzzles to find the key and escape? Those online games were the original inspiration for the live escape rooms you’ll find all across the world today. An escape room is an immersive experience where you (and your team of 2 or more people) are locked in a room with a series of puzzles for 60 minutes. To escape and win the game, you have to look for clues, solve the puzzles, and find the key. While most escape rooms only give you 60 minutes to complete the challenge, others may have shorter or longer time limits. Many venues are private rooms where you and your team are the only players. However, some places may pair you with other groups who booked a slot at the same time. And don’t worry about getting stuck, asking for hints on a difficult puzzle is totally normal. While the original escape room (created by SCRAP in 2007) had a fairly simple aesthetic, today’s escape games often take you into a different world. Artistic set designs, secret doors, and unique interactive elements are all part of the fun. It’s like an adventure game that you can interact with in real life. But if you’re hoping to preview any rooms before you book a game somewhere, detailed images and videos can be hard to find. To keep the puzzles a secret and preserve the experience of seeing the room for the first time, most venues only offer a few photos or a short trailer about the room’s theme or narrative. The only way to know what it’s like is to go and try it for yourself!
