“We had been told to go here by multiple other escape room GM’s and heard really good things. The best part is there is a sound effect that lets you know that you were successful in a clue so you know a drawer had opened. We’ve been in escape rooms before where we didn’t notice we got it right.”

The Mystery At The Majestic Theatre

“I would rate this room a 4/5 (ck out my bio page for my rating system). The set design and theme deserve 1 pt, average. The real 'magic' was in the puzzles which I would give 1.5 pts! There was a variety of puzzle types and they all incorporated the theme quite well. A few of the puzzles were time-suckers (you figure them out quickly but completing them takes more than a reasonable amount of time) so because of this, I think this room should have a 60m time limit rather than 45m. I give my experience in this room a 1.5. I really did enjoy it mainly because of the puzzle experience (even with the time-suckers!). I hadn't seen many of the puzzles before and loved the variety. It was a pretty linear type escape experience which I prefer. Another thing I liked about this room (and business, as all the rooms have this) was that they play a distinctive sound when you complete a puzzle. Most of the rooms I have done don't have this and it's sometimes difficult to know if you actually solved a puzzle. In addition, they were judicious with their hints (we told them to go light on the hints) and played a separate sound when these were on the screen so we knew when to look. The staff was fun and helpful! My only real complaint is the pictures. I do like the polaroid idea but there should also be online availability of the pictures as well so you don't have to take a pic of the pic when you want to share!”

“Bamboozled, as many in their reviews say, is one of the better rooms in the lower mainland. I found this room actually a little harder than their hardest (midnight manor). It would just be great if it was more clear how to reset puzzles. But unlimited hints makes sure that you don’t feel worried about using one to ask how to reset. They also were watching and actually came in to tell us we were missing a step, which we had actually done, but was wrong, great company and fun and challenging but logical puzzles”

“As always with this location, the design well thought of. everything works very realistic, and They put so much effort with the outline and design of each rooms. We didn’t expect the number of rooms there is. First part of the room is very physical so people with mobility issues might have a tough time. If you are sensitive with loud sounds as well, this might not be the room for you. All the puzzles are working perfectly but some lasers are loosely placed that it would trigger a loud constant noise if touched. So when the GM said dont touch or move anything, please dont. This is one of the longer rooms as well so GM recommends minimum of 3 people but we finished it with just 2 so it is highly doable with 2. Puzzles flowed easily, as soon as you get one, it leads you to the other. The room is very mechanical as well, lots of moving pieces. Escaping is very anti- climactic. I hope theres a sound to tell you that you escaped. We could’ve gotten out 5 mins earlier if we put a little effort opening the door. We did the last puzzle but we thought nothing happened. Oh well, we still escaped tho. Over all we had fun! There’s a lot of math and loud noises involved.”

“We really liked this room, and I like the spin on the prison theme being medieval. The flow was smooth, puzzles fun, we used 3 hints and made it out in 40 min. There are no clocks so if there were, we probably would have used less hints… we were mostly just panicking because we thought we had less time than we did.”
