Great escape room. It was different than any other we have done because there was actor in the game with you. A few jump scares as well. Highly recommend

You’ve been hired to stay the night at the run-down Starlight Motel in an attempt to learn their secrets. What you uncover is much more terrifying than you could have imagined.

Very fun and extremely interactive room. We love Escape Artist and have enjoyed all of their rooms so far. Our GM/Hotel Manager Pork did an amazing job being in character. I felt all the puzzles were straight forward and fit the theme. Definitely has the creepy vibe it is shooting for. Several parts were very fun and slightly scary (if you are scared of those types of situations). But I wont spoil it. Couple of cool fun puzzles that we have seen before elsewhere but done in a creative way that fit the theme. Highly recommend Escape Artist.

I think the fact that our party was forgotten about and started this room late put a damper on the room itself. We got to the location early as apart of an escape room weekend. We totally understood not being able to start the room early but we would have liked to have started it on time. Our GM was absolutely brilliant though! Puzzles were ok. Not a lot stands out for me though looking back.

This was such a great room! My husband and I have done a lot of escape rooms, but this was our first one with a live actor. I wasn’t sure what that would be like, but it was great! He kept things moving along. This room had some puzzle types that were unique for us, so it kept us thinking and engaged. We definitely recommend it.

The Starlight Motel. The game that (imo) put EA Greenville on the map, and therefore came with a ton of hype. I am happy to report that it absolutely lives up to it and deserves even more. What makes this room is the interactions with the actor (which are required - get your improv hat ready!) and the finale which genuinely was one of those most thrilling and scary moments I’ve had in an escape room. The tension that builds up through the entire game is palpable and truly a masterpiece. Come from anywhere you can go spend a night at the Starlight Motel, cause it just might be your last!

Holy crap!!!! This one scared the socks off me, like dark lullaby, i ended up on the floor and crawling away after one of the scares 😂😂 Lou was such an immersive character for our game too, deserves any and all the praise he gets tbh - my favorite part was how nonchalant his character was and how subtly he was able to give us slight pointers Genuinely epic game with a really cool layout/footprint. Super glad this was our finale for the night - ended off with a huge adrenaline pumping bang

Game flowed super well, as soon as we got checked in we were off to puzzling!! A couple things were hard for at least me to do just because the anxiety of what could happen (for example) after putting my hands in certain places
Really felt like a run down, dingy, yet spotless (for clean freaks) hotel - special effects were awesome, fully rounded with lighting, soundscape, and some really cool technology
Our investigator (I’m sorry I didn’t catch their name!!!!) and Lou, we’re fantastic, nice and immersive from the get go. (Lou was very nice AFTER his short, tired, don’t-want-to-be-there character - which was an awesome contrast to see)

Very very memorable and fun story - getting to take part in the interactive acting/improv was one of the coolest parts of this experience - it was awesome to be able to find out more and more of the story as the room played out

Overwhelming positive experience. Absolutely loved this room. Love a good creepy-scary room and this is definitely that. Staff adds to the immersive experience so well. Puzzles are fun and unique.

This is easily one of the 5 best rooms I have played. So wonderfully creepy, Fantastic puzzles, and an amazing staff. Matthew, Pork, Audrey were all amazing!!!! If you are escape room enthusiast this is a must do. Do not visit Greenville without doing this room. A complete experience. I do not want to spoil anything so that's all I will say. The room itself if not something I would take a younger teen to.

Well-paced light horror game with a few jumpscares and tense moments. Puzzles are decent, but the set is great and the actor interactions are fantastic (Eden was awesome!). The best game at EA Greenville's downtown location (although I still prefer the quirkiness of Classified). My personal ranking of the 5 games at the downtown location as of August '25: 1. Classified: Operation Nine Lives (just too silly not to be my #1 here. No flaws, but it's too easy with 4, I think.) 2. Starlight Motel (excellent flow and plotting, tight with good acting moments, puzzles were just OK - a superior game to Classified, but silliness wins :) ) 3. Yuletide Magic (fun, surprisingly good puzzles and Christmasy vibes) 4. Dr. Fratelli's Cabin (Very (too) easy! A great puzzle toward the end. Good beginner game... or solo game. We finished in 24 mins as 4 people. Skippable if you're low on time) 5. Inventor's Enigma (A unique puzzle at the end, but most puzzles were a bit simple. Relatively easy overall, might be a good beginner room. Skippable if you're low on time.)
