The Asylum: PlaytimeLost GamesEscape roomIRLNot coming here again. The GM really just wanted to go home and it was not fun. Plus they waste about 10-15 min of your time sitting in a "lobby" of the asylum trying to build the atmosphere. What they don't tell you is all that time waiting actually counts against you. We probably had about 35 min all together. So not worth it. Plus the puzzles were ridiculous in that there wasn't a logical way to answer them. It was so unique and random it didn't make sense.

Inside JobExodus Escape Room - Rancho CucamongaEscape roomIRLThe best and largest escape room in LA and the surrounding area. This was amazing! We had to drive an hour to get here but soooo worth it. The puzzles were awesome, the theme was immersive (it's an actual bank), and the difficult was spot on.
Olympus: Eternal WinterExodus Escape Room - Rancho CucamongaEscape roomIRLWay fun room! The theme is chilling and the puzzles are unique. Not your normal lock and box approach. Great for family and kids too if you have a younger crowd.
ElixirExodus Escape Room - Anaheim Hills, CAEscape roomIRLElixir was amazing!!! The puzzles were so immersive and clever. It has a great mix of challenging and fun at the same time. This is one of the few escape rooms where the theme and the puzzles greatly match. The designer was very ingenious in the creations.
The Fun HouseCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis is a great place. The fun house was fun and not too tough. I highly recommend "pushing the button".
The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLThis one is scary! When they say you'll get spooked it's scare the crap out of you level. It is insane! Good luck surviving it. We made it with less than a minute to spare.
Jewel of the SeaIntrepid Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAmazing visuals and immersion. The mechanics were very well designed and the room was really immersive. However, the GM was the issue. DONT GIVE CLUES UNLESS ASKED FOR. He ruined the enjoyment by giving us clues without us asking. We ended with 24 minutes left because he took the challenge away. I felt robbed of the fun. This could be a great escape room, but the GM killed it for me.
Catalina Pirate Challenge Escape Room CatalinaEscape roomIRLAwesome escape room! We've done multiple escape rooms and were hesitant on whether or not a random place in catalina would be good. This place was amazing though. Very immersive. The rooms have great themes. We did the pirate and it was better than some escape rooms in Irvine and LA. Don made it even more enjoyable with his positive energy and fun personality. We'll be back to do the other one.
Lab RatHatch EscapesEscape roomIRLVERY LINEAR!!!! I was really excited about this one. I even got together with a bunch of friends to setup a full day to go to LA for escape rooms. We got matching shirts and everything. When we got to the place the guy told us that they were having some difficulties and management wasn't helping. This was our first warning. He also said he might have to come in and "help" (which he did twice because stuff was broken). The game was ok. Some puzzles were not reset, a couple times the guy had to say "don't touch that I'll tell you when later", when he had to come "help" we lost extra time. The effects were cool and the puzzle had some creativity but we won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it.
Zombie v.2 - CLOSEDEscape Hotel HollywoodEscape roomIRLBest thematic place. The actual hotel then in the lobby was even cooler than the escape room. The whole style and structure is just amazing. The game itself was way fun too. This one was really hard though. Be ready to do a lot of mental gymnastics. Well worth it though.
