Runaway TrainEscape Experience - Choo ChooEscape roomIRLExcellent experience, very unique. It was a difficult room with only two players as there is a lot of ground to cover. Plenty of puzzles to solve we did it with 2 players but would have been better to have at least 3-4 due to amount of space to cover. Paper and pen would have been nice to have in the room as well but they let us use our phone for note taking and calculators. Definitely a must if visiting Chattanooga.

The Swamp Shack - CLOSEDBluff City Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room. It’s a one of a kind that seems to be made by the owners. There are a few things that don’t work exactly as they should but staff was observant and stepped in while pausing the time. They had some special effects that were definitely unique and well thought out. It’s not a super hard room but easy to overlook the clues that make you go it was right there the whole time! Definitely recommend.
InceptionFort Wayne Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe GM was not paying attention to our game and we often had to bring her attention to the fact that the clue she just gave us was something we already solved. However figuring out the clues she was giving took away time due to us trying to figure out the next step and not one we had already completed. I think the game could have been fun with a different GM. We felt like she was intentionally wanting us not to escape to keep the game rating higher.

SabotageThe Escape Game - Opry MillsEscape roomIRLInteresting twist on the escape games. So you can play against another team or against the computer to solve puzzles and launch attacks or defend against them. It’s a small room and you solve puzzles to launch attacks. It’s interesting the only struggle we had was understanding when the puzzle was completed. The doors open but sometimes so many doors open it’s hard to figure out which ones are new ones or if they opened.

I do recommend a larger group because it is more physical and about teamwork and not so much about solving puzzles. Very unique and the game host was right on beat with the clues.
Wild WestBreakout Games - NashvilleEscape roomIRLThis room was a lot of fun. There’s not a lot of puzzles but there’s enough to keep you active. There’s a fun opening part that I have never experienced at any other game before.

The math problem in the room was ridiculous with fractions and decimals but makes sense once it’s solved. We did struggle since we got the clues out of order and it was hard for the GM to figure out clues to get us back on track. We still made it out and happy to have played the original escape game!
The Iron ThroneFort Wayne Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe pen for notes didn’t work at first but the host ran one in when we asked for a new one. It was dark but not terrible. After winning you get to sign your name on the wall, very unique. There was no story leading up to the game but since it was based on the game of thrones it didn’t need one. Fun experience got 10% off for my next trip after winning.
