The Asylum13th Gate EscapeEscape roomIRLOur group liked this game but it really wasn't the quality I've grown to expect from 13th Gate. The puzzles were a little disjointed and sometimes felt like they were just tossed in to fill time. This is definitely a room for more than 4 people and I would say groups of 6-8 are more suited to the room. It is really a big space which is well utilized and the theme carries throughout but we had trouble with one of the puzzles (don't want to spoil it for others) and we spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. The colors were really subtle and the lighting was very low. Also I put my hand into a hole in the wall to pull something out and something fell on my hand and it hurt. Kind of an unpleasant surprise for me.

Last Chance - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLIncredible experience. I'm spoiled after going to their rooms. The level of complexity is off the charts. All the puzzles are woven cleverly into the story and it all fits together without a hitch the owner makes sure nothing is ever broken and the set design will literally knock your socks off. If you're wanting to try something really unique then this is the place. We will be getting some friends together for memorial day weekend to play their new trivia game and use the party room. Can't wait to go back.

This place goes above and beyond the standard escape room business. The puzzles fit the story llne and it flows through the whole thing. Loved this game and the actor was stellar.

The actor in the room helped when we asked and. told us a few funny jokes. Then they took us over and showed us their newest room Quiz Boxing. It's a really cool trivia game. We're coming back next weekend.

Turning off the lights once was okay but after that it lost its punch and scare factor. Just seemed annoying and distracting. The actor did a good job and I enjoyed the combination of theater and escape room. Overall good experience.

The actor in the room made sure we had to play our part which was really fun. We've never done a room like this before and it was over the top both in set and game play.

We had to park a ways away and walk. Careful if your booking is for after dark. The price is more than most San Diego escapes. Its got a commercial cheap feel to it and is linear so 2 players are about it when it comes to playing. One of the puzzles didn't work and the game is pretty standard. Nothing spectacular to write about.

Maybe it was supposed to be that way since it was trying to copy a show but it didn't come off that way at all. It just came off as cheap and no originality. To me they did a good job of copying other escape room business puzzles but didn't put a lot of effort into creating a game worth the price. We visited because of the reviews but shouldn't have.
