Carlisle’s Cafe - CLOSEDSkeleton Key Escape RoomEscape roomIRLNot a bad room. Would say easy/medium difficulty. It’s clearly an older room that hasn’t been updated in a while. Still a fun room but there was quite a bit of extra props that aren’t used in solving puzzles. Cute story line.
Resident Alpha [prev. CSI Lab] - CLOSEDThe Unlockables - Kearny MesaEscape roomIRLVery fun room. Might be on the easier side for experienced players. Our team of four tied the all time record that was set by a group of six. Still a very fun room and a great experience.
Captain Maniacal's LairboratoriumRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLBrand new room at Red Door but it is a mini game. It was fun but for an experienced group of two was quite easy. Still recommend this room but not for too many experienced players or it will be over too quick.
Once Upon a TimeRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLGreat room. Lots of fun. Great for an experienced group of four. Groups of six are probably the sweet spot. Great mechanics, props, and puzzles. Lots of fun!
London Fog: The Mists of TimeThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLAnother high tech room of medium advanced difficulty. Recommended for more experienced players or larger groups. Part of a three room story line that you can do as part of the story but do not have to do the other rooms. Overall a fun room.
The GiftRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLAnother fun room at Red Door. Their rooms are in really good shape as they are all on the newer side. I would consider this a medium difficulty for experienced players. We did this room as a group of four and got out with okie ty of time left.
Fair GameRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLFun room although my second to least favorite of all rooms at Red Door. This room just wasn’t as fun as the other but still a fun room. Would recommend for max of 6 players with 4 experienced players being the sweet spot. I would consider this a medium difficulty room.
The A.I. - CLOSEDThe Exit Game - San DiegoEscape roomIRLNice high tech room with a mix of mainsail and automatic locks. Good story and even has its own video game. Medium difficulty for experienced players but a very fun room.
ConfinementRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLFun room but my least favorite of all the Red Door rooms. It seemed like when you were getting close to the end there was a new room with so much more to do. Slightly higher difficulty and would recommend for a team of four experienced players or six plus less experienced players.
The Bayou: The Legend of the Midnight RavenThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLRecommended for experienced players or larger groups. Another high tech room. Did feel like there was a lot going on and was easy to get side tracked. Overall a fun room and the owner of very nice as well as helpful.
Prison BreakRed Door Escape Room - San DiegoEscape roomIRLPretty fun game. There could have been a few more puzzles for the size of the room. Medium difficulty for a group of four experienced players. For less experienced I would recommend six.
The Disappearance at Fogmore ManorThe EntrapmentEscape roomIRLReally enjoyed this room. Very high tech locks and puzzles. Good story line. Recommend for experienced players or for groups of 6+
The Lab 51 - Version 2 - CLOSEDThe Exit Game - San DiegoEscape roomIRLWry fun room! There is some physical activity like crouching or crawling involved so keep that in mind. Puzzles were very fun and rewarding. Also has a good story line.
Western - CLOSEDLockdown Escape Rooms - HillcrestEscape roomIRLFirst escape room I ever did. Very fun, loved the theme and story line. Did not escape the first time with a group of three but we were inexperienced. Five plus years later with a group of four, we were able to escape pretty easily. I did not remember any of the puzzles or answers but had a lot more experience. Overall a really fun room.
Elite Hunting Club - CLOSEDPhenomenal Escape RoomEscape roomIRLHorror room that was a bit nerve wracking in the beginning but once the game got going it was fun. Would recommend for more advanced players that do not mind starting out a room possibly with little physical movement available.
Clownatorium-2 Upside Down - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLThe owner is an enthusiast and makes really cool high tech rooms. They are more in the advanced side but they are there willing to help you.
Voodoo - CLOSEDLockdown Escape Rooms - HillcrestEscape roomIRLAnother fun room. Did it as a group of 6 experienced players so it was a bit easy for us but still fun and worth doing. Great room for beginners or small groups of experienced players.
Tut's Rut - CLOSEDNightwalker Caverns Escape Room AdventuresEscape roomIRLAnother very fun room at this place. Also high tech and recommended for more experienced players. The owner is very nice and you can tell he loves escape rooms. Very passionate and enthusiastic.
Medieval - CLOSEDLockdown Escape Rooms - HillcrestEscape roomIRLTheir easiest room for beginners. Did it as a group of two experienced players. Was not very difficult for us but was still quite fun and worth checking off the list.
Science - CLOSEDLockdown Escape Rooms - HillcrestEscape roomIRLMy favorite room here. The hardest room they have, with a 10% success rate. Did it as an experienced group of four and escaped with 15 minutes left. Very fun room that allows people to work together or separate to solve puzzles. Very fun.
