Hope EndThe Ministry Of PeculiaritiesEscape roomIRLI did this room over a year ago, and I’ve done many rooms since but I still think of this room as the best one I’ve ever done. The actress was spectacular and the decorations were so realistic and immersive. You’re sucked into the story literally the moment you step foot into the building- let alone the room itself. All of the staff was so welcoming and talented. I don’t have a single negative thought about this room, it deserves all the praise it gets and more. To get the best experience I really recommend engaging with the actress as much as possible!!
40 ThievesMindTrap Escape Room - TemeculaEscape roomIRLAfter doing a bunch of rooms with actors, I was absolutely not expecting to adore this room as much as I did. Easily top 5 room- maybe top 3. It was a lot to do for just 2 people but def manageable. The set design was incredibly detailed and immersive. Also there were so many unique technological surprises. Our GM was very helpful as well. I highly recommend this place!

Super under-hyped room- I was surprised how scared I felt having already done Zoe and Weeping Witch and thinking those would be peak spooky (Id say Zoe is scarier but not weeping witch) The actor was spectacular!! My friend kept trying to get him to smile and he was amazing at staying in character. The decorations were also super well done (specifically the additional rooms), and all of the puzzles were challenging but not frustrating. Also they let us meet their canine coworker! I don’t remember his name but he was very cute.

Flynn's ArcadeBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLSuper strong start, with a slightly weaker end. The intro to the room was super immersive and the beginning was great, I loved all the arcade games! Def a unique take on the concept 🙂↕️ that said, the last room was majority mini-game/task puzzles that I’ve seen in many other places. I felt like the room could have used a few more difficult puzzles in general That said, GM was super, super sweet and very prompt with chiming in when we were going in the wrong direction for too long. I forgot his name but he had glasses and stubble :))
Through The Sugar GlassQuest TavernEscape roomIRLReally fun room!! Would be prefect for a birthday party or something just generally festive. Lots of really cool effects and a good variety of puzzles. None of them left me frustrated or felt clunky. That said, I wish one or two more puzzles were a bittt more difficult. The amount of puzzles made up for some of them being easy though. The room was super immersive with lots of fun surprises and overall the decor was really detailed and gorgeous!! The real candy in the room was an absolute highlight— I got an extra shot of serotonin every time I solved a puzzle that had some. Also the story was super clear and I was pleasantly surprised how well it flowed with the puzzles. Unfortunately the room uses really noticeable AI in several places that I think ruins some of the whimsy Our GM Haley was amazingggg, very sweet to talk to and always knew when to chime in. She was also very patient with us starting mildly late. If this room had one more difficult puzzle and swapped out the AI art, I’d say it’s 10/10. Until then 8/10
45 Lampkin LaneConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLSuch a fun room!! I LOVED the immersive set design and creative scares. We did the extreme version. Having done Zoe and a few other scary escape rooms, I wasn’t really scared but I ADORED the innovation of how the actor interacted with us- super unique and it’ll stick with you. One of my friends that’s newer to spooky rooms was really terrified! We didn’t get out in time (they still let us finish) but I wouldn’t say any of the puzzles were overly difficult? Everything flowed together nicely. And the game-master (Dreu) was super attentive when we needed help. The only mild thing I would say is I wish the speaker was slightly louder because I kept asking them to repeat the clues. Also kudos to our actor, Ben! Really got active 🏃♀️🏃♀️
The Curse Of The Black KnightEscapeX Rooms - IrvineEscape roomIRLAbsolutely perfect for 2 players!! The set is fantastic, wayyy bigger than ur expecting with lots of spectacular effects and fun decor covering every inch of the room 💙💙 I will say I found the puzzles pretty easy and almost TOO straight forward? I liked that I always knew what to do but I got out with 20 minutes to spare- when I normally get out of rooms within the last 5 min. If the room was harder/longer I’d rate it 10/10 but for now it’s a super solid 8/10
Wizard's Treasure60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLOur gamemaster Rachel absolutely killed it!! Her intro had us 100% captivated. The room itself is cute, the decor is very immersive and whimsical. The puzzles are more to-do tasks than head-scratchers so I’d recommend it for smaller groups or kids :) I really liked all the gnomes 🍄
The Christmas Treehouse EscapeConfusion EscapesEscape roomIRLHaving not done the normal treehouse, I had a lot of fun in the Christmas version! The set was gorgeous and the effects were super fun. I will say you can tell the puzzles are part of a temporary room since they mostly were locks and relatively simple. Fully understandable why, it was still a amazing time! I really can’t undersell the set. Also I gotta shoutout our fabulous GM, Cloud. The room splits up the group and we were all calling for help at the same time. Cloud was super attentive and juggled all of us constantly bothering them with ease.
