EspionageThe Cipher Room NewtownEscape roomIRLThis one has classic, traditional escape room vibes and honestly, everything just worked. The flow was smooth, the puzzles connected well, and nothing felt clunky or confusing. It’s one of their older rooms, but it still holds up nicely and has some cool elements woven in. The set design has that classic Cipher Room style, immersive, cohesive, and polished without being overcomplicated. We didn’t find it particularly difficult, which actually made it enjoyable in a different way. It felt well balanced and fair, with logical progression throughout. For first time escapers, this would be a great place to start. It captures the essence of what makes a good traditional escape room without being overwhelming. A solid, dependable experience.
KidnappedUrban EscapadeEscape roomIRLThe detailing throughout the room is really well done, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating the atmosphere. Considering Urban Escapade had only been open for two weeks when we played, the foundation they’ve built is genuinely impressive. At a base level, the room is really cool. There’s a strong theme, good immersion, and a nice mix of high-tech elements and classic padlocks used in the right places. The team has clearly put effort into making the environment feel cohesive and engaging. My partner and I did find it quite challenging. We needed a few nudges in the right direction and sometimes struggled to know exactly what we were looking for. That may partly come down to our own lapse in skills on the day, but we also felt that some refinement in puzzle direction and flow could elevate the experience significantly. The puzzles themselves weren’t logically difficult, it was more about identifying where to focus. With a few adjustments and fine-tuning, this room has serious potential to improve. The bones are absolutely there. We’re excited to see how it evolves as the team continues to polish it.
TorquayElude Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAwesome room. From the moment we stepped in, the setting felt immersive and unique, and the props were high quality and really added to the experience. We found most of it pretty smooth sailing, but got caught up twice which pushed us just over time. We finished in 62 minutes… so close! To complete this room within the 60 minutes, you realistically need to solve one puzzle every 3 minutes, definitely a solid challenge. The puzzle flow is strong, but it’s clearly geared toward teams with a bit more escape room experience. It’s not unfair, just demanding in a good way. Even though we ran slightly over, it genuinely sparked joy and left us feeling satisfied walking out. Super fun, cleverly designed, and absolutely worth doing if you’re up for a challenge. We’ll definitely be back to try the other rooms here.

Cabin cult is a meticulously designed, spooky, funny, iconic escape room with great high tech puzzles, a clear story line, and intentional set choices which really got you into the story. We found the puzzles were a perfect difficulty for an intermediate escape room level. We managed to escape and have the third best time. Would highly recommend!!!! Big shoutout to Tanner, he was absolutely incredible! We will definitely definitely be back for their up coming rooms :)

Occasional moments of downtime whereby story was shown, which probably amounts to 5-10 mins of non-gameplay. Fun nonetheless, not particularly difficult for us. Little bit spooky at times. Minimal padlocks, definitely tech focused.

Great variety of puzzles and a clear goal from the get go, this helped the flow of the room and got us into the spirit of the room. SeanceThe Cool SpaceEscape roomIRLThe Cool Space is quickly becoming one of those places that will be known for doing escape rooms really well. Their dedication to building great rooms with thoughtful, well designed puzzles is exceptional. Seance is a really unique experience. The entire room is fully seated, which might sound unusual at first, but it honestly doesn’t take away from the experience at all, if anything, it enhances it. Being seated together actually adds to the atmosphere and makes the whole thing feel more immersive and focused. The puzzles are clever, engaging, and very satisfying to work through as a group. Everything feels intentionally designed and polished, which is something The Cool Space seems to consistently deliver. If this is the direction they’re continuing in, I wouldn’t be surprised if The Cool Space becomes one of the most well known escape room venues around. A really memorable and well-crafted experience.

The set design is next to none. From the moment you walk in, you’re completely immersed. The room is absolutely filled to the brim with detail, every corner feels intentional, layered, and thoughtfully crafted. It doesn’t just look good; it feels alive. The puzzles are unique, clever, and satisfying to solve. Nothing felt recycled or predictable. The flow keeps you engaged the entire time, and the integration with the environment is seamless. And the ending… oh my. The ending is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in an escape room. It genuinely caught us off guard in the best possible way and elevated the entire experience. If you’re even remotely into escape rooms, this is a must do. Exceptional from start to finish.
