The SubwayEscape This FrederickEscape roomIRLThis room was amazing! First of all, this place never disappoints. Their newest subway room is definitely the most immersive room they have and one of my favorite rooms of all time. It has super fun and interesting puzzles, and the right difficulty for everyone. I wish I could say more but this whole room is a surprise. It is must try for any escape room player.
Timeliner: Train Through TimeThe Escape Game - AustinEscape roomIRLI thought this room was great! We solved with two people with 10 minutes to spare but the puzzles and the atmosphere were both very fun. A lot of enthusiasts complain “it’s too easy” “it’s too hard”. It’s a lot of fun, that’s all that matters. Best take on a time travel room I’ve seen so far. Probably my second favorite from TEG after playground.
Arcade Challenge [prev. Retro Replay]The Great Escape Room - Arlington [prev. Escape Room Arlington]Escape roomIRLI actually loved this room. This one is going up there in my top escape rooms of all time. As a nerd and escape room enthusiast, this room checked all the boxes. The atmosphere was definitely nerdy enough, the puzzles were great and the gameplay flowed well, and it had plenty of fun Easter eggs.
Train RobberyCyber Raccoon Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThe room was good. I will say the coolest part of the room was the story. The puzzles were good and just the right amount of difficult for someone who is quite experienced. This room seems geared towards experienced enthusiasts so just keep that in mind. All in all, very fun!
The CarnivalEscape This FrederickEscape roomIRLProbably one of the most unique rooms I have ever done. It was suuuuper fun. I wasn’t super interested in the theme but Escape This did it again! The entire room was a fun time, at no point did I ever feel frustrated. A lot of the puzzles were unique and very manual. You get the fun of both an escape room and playing carnival games all in one!
Servants of SleightThe Escape Ventures - Clearwater [prev. The Exit Games]Escape roomIRLI’ve done a total of 90 rooms at this point (haven’t marked them all on the app), and I always end up coming back to this room as my favorite of all time. Everything in this room works well, from the puzzles , to the atmosphere, to the story. Overall the best room I’ve ever played.

The Blind Tiger SpeakeasyExpedition EscapeEscape roomIRLReally cool room. I loved the atmosphere of the speakeasy but some of the puzzles were a little lackluster. Still incredibly fun!
8-Bit EscapeEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLAs a nerd, I found this room to be very special. Most of the puzzles were very well themed and it helped the room keep that retro feel they were going for.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - King of PrussiaEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite rooms of all time. The theme wasn’t the most eye catching thing but the puzzles were so much fun! Most of the puzzles were very active and simple but none of them felt like a hassle to do.
The Graverobber's DilemmaEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLAnother good room by Herndon. It was a surprisingly easy room but it had some very unique twists that made the room feel very different from the competition.

The DepthsThe Escape Game - Penn QuarterEscape roomIRLI thought the submarine would be kinda tacky but it was very well done. The escape game pulled it off well and made a very fun room with some unique puzzles.
The Candy Shop - CLOSEDExpedition EscapeEscape roomIRLAnother super fun theme by expedition escape. Some of the puzzles were super cool and some were pretty standard. The atmosphere was really fun as well. It is a big room that can fit larger groups.
Maritime MutinyEscape Room HerndonEscape roomIRLProbably the best pirate room I have done. I was just sad it was over so soon. Definitely one of their easier rooms.
Cell Block 1Escape This FrederickEscape roomIRLOne of my top 5 escape rooms of all time. This was an incredibly well done room! Probably the best in Frederick up there with the Haunted. The theme and puzzles all blend together very well. It was also the right amount of challenging so make sure you’re ready to work together with your other cell mates. Just an overall super cool room!
HauntedEscape This FrederickEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite escape rooms of all time. This one may be my favorite escape room in Frederick! The best part about this room is how well everything works together. The puzzles were great, the atmosphere was the right amount of spooky without it being distracting, and the story was as close to authentic as possible. This room was so much fun!
Agent 101 - CLOSEDEscape This FrederickEscape roomIRLI miss this room already. As a geek, this room was super cool! Sad to see it go. While it may have been a “techy” room, you needed no technical experience to enjoy it. Everyone who played it, loved it!
