They allowed us to ask tons of questions before and after the game and overall were very welcoming. This room was our first at this location and out of 50+ escape rooms my team and I have done, this one was definitely in my top 4. The puzzles were super creative and I appreciated the use of technology throughout the room. Traditional boxes and locks get boring quickly, and this game definitely was far from boring. I highly recommend this room for anyone who wants an interactive and unique escape room experience that’s sure to thrill (a SHOCKingly good time 😉).

Gold RushThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLThe Escape Game never disappoints with cool escape room themes and immersive scenes within the game, and Gold Rush was no different. I enjoyed the separation of “scenes” and the flow of the storyline - and I appreciated the unique puzzles that weren’t all “lock and key”.
PlaygroundThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLPlayground took me straight back to elementary school! Such a fun and nostalgic concept with lots of unique puzzles and instant-gratitude type gameplay. A great game to play with a large group of friends.
UFO: Go For LaunchThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLOne of my favorite parts about this room specifically is how you interact with your GM throughout the game (if you know, you know). Other than that, the design of the room was very intricate and I appreciated all of the detail that went into the decor. Unique puzzles that are unlike any other room I’ve played, I’d definitely recommend The Bureau for a fun family escape room experience.
Servants of SleightThe Escape Ventures - Clearwater [prev. The Exit Games]Escape roomIRLServants of Sleight is one of two of the BEST escape rooms I’ve ever played. Seriously, my crew and I have played 34 games at the time of this review, and Servants remains in my top 2 (only being topped by Exit Games FL’s other game, Pins and Needles). The thought and detail that went into this escape room is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I could go on and on about this room but to keep it short and sweet: everyone needs to experience this room. This is one of those rooms that makes me wish I could erase my memory just so that I could play it again and again.
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Escape Ventures - Clearwater [prev. The Exit Games]Escape roomIRLThis is my #1 favorite escape room I’ve ever played. We had the pleasure of having the owners of Exit Games FL (Tay and Josh) as our game masters, and they blew it out of the water. I didn’t think they could top Servants of Sleight, but they did it. The most badass, immersive, and interactive escape room ever. I’d be surprised if I ever found one that topped it.
Bros for Life: Fraternity HeistThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLSuch a fun and light hearted game. I loved the unique entrances and exits to each of the rooms inside of the game, and the facade was top notch. Bros is a great family escape room and although it is definitely challenging, you’ll be sure to enjoy all of the interactive puzzles.
Outage: No VacancyThe Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford LakesEscape roomIRLThis is the most unique escape room I’ve ever experienced. When they say you’re in pitch black darkness, they aren’t lying. Your adrenaline will be rushing as you’re using every single one of your senses other than your sight in order to navigate this room. I wasn’t too sure I’d like it at first, honestly but needless to say I’m glad I gave it a shot. Outage isn’t a game for everyone, but it’s definitely a gem if you’re looking for a unique escape room experience.
Operation Treehouse: Capture the FlagThe Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLSuch a fun and fast paced room. There were a LOT of puzzles in this one, but they are quick-gratitude and make you feel like a kid again!
The Sneaky Snake LoungeEscape UEscape roomIRLI was stoked to find an escape room so close to my new residence in St. Augustine, and I was even more stoked that the games here were all so great! Sneaky Snake Lounge has a very unique, interactive aspect to the game that definitely set it apart from many other rooms I’ve played. We didn’t escape this one, but it remains in my top 5 because of the concept and design of the room. Another game I wish I could play again!
Super Bomb Squad: Commandos AwesomeDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLGreat family fun experience. This was actually the very first game my team and I played together, and it’s the reason we’re so hooked on escape rooms now! We loved the interactive puzzles and overall design of this room.
Scorched - CLOSEDOuterlife StudiosEscape roomIRLGet your tennis shoes on! This was one of the most physical escape rooms I’ve played, which is why it remains in my top 10. I’ll be honest, I feel as though players should be made more aware beforehand about this aspect of the room so that they can prepare and make an informed decision. However, luckily my team and I were down for the challenge and it was totally worth it, because this was also one of the largest rooms I’ve ever played. Unique puzzles, unique gameplay, eery storyline 😍
Save The Fleet - CLOSEDEscape UEscape roomIRLBe sure to check out some of the St. Augustine history before attempting this room! It won’t make a difference in the difficulty of the room, but it was definitely neat to understand what the room was based off of. Being a St. Augustine resident, this room has a special place in my heart :)
Wild WestEscape ThrillEscape roomIRLOverall fun experience! One of the puzzles was definitely more physical, but to my understanding players do have the option to skip this part if needed. This room is on the smaller side, but I enjoyed the gameplay and puzzles it had to offer.
The Paper Company - CLOSEDDare 2 EscapeEscape roomIRLIf you’re a fan of a certain paper company tv show, you’ll be sure to love this escape room! So many call backs to the show and fun puzzles that reminded us exactly of one of our favorite episodes. Even if you’ve never seen the show though, this escape room is fun for all and not as challenging for this first time players!
Area 51The Escape Ventures - Winter Garden [prev. Escape Goat]Escape roomIRLThis room was definitely easier having a team of seasoned escapers all working on different puzzles at the same time. We escaped quicker than most small groups of 3, but I feel that this room would definitely be more challenging for newer players. Overall, I loved the references to different sci-fi movies throughout the room and the unique puzzles!
Old JailEscape UEscape roomIRLLoved the split start aspect of this game! One of the puzzles was a little frustrating as there was no true rhyme or reason to solving it, just process of elimination which ate up a lot of our time and ultimately caused us not to escape :( I would like to go back and try this game again though, I enjoyed the theme which relates to one of the historical sites in old St Augustine :)
Hero League - Attack Of The Cyber Titan - CLOSEDOuterlife StudiosEscape roomIRLI give this game a lot of props for the use of space as it’s literally built inside of a TRAILER. Unlike any game room I’ve ever experienced, however some of the tech was malfunctioning during our game which took away from the fun a little bit. The owners of Outerlife Studios are beyond amazing however, and we got a sneak peek into the tiny control room of this game afterwards! Such a cool experience!
Dr. BraingoodThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLThis escape room is a bit different from others that I’ve played because it’s more of a “here’s your task, go and do it to get your next direction” instead of finding your own way through. This room would be great for first time players, but in my opinion I would’ve liked a bit more of a challenge to figure out what to do next. All in all, a fun escape!
