The Last SupperQuest TavernEscape roomIRLThis was fun, loved the actor and gamemaster. The room was immersive, linear in nature. Puzzles were not as hard, semi difficult. It was more of the experience, story was interesting. Definitely enhanced by the actor and gamemaster. Come into room with the mindset of having fun and being silly. Friends loved the room and thought it was a good comeback from not doing an escape room in ages. Second game at this location, did not disappoint.
Zombie On a Chain - CLOSEDGetOut Games - Salt Lake CityEscape roomIRLGamemaster and the zombie were amazing. They were nice and made the experience worth going. It was scary in a sense and it helped make the room feel longer. The puzzles were not hard, just the scare factor. One puzzle or two were not functional/not working but it did not hinder the fun times we had. We did the chained zombie, minimum 6 and there is 10% gratuity added on after. I dont mind since the actor was good.
Experiment C73Conundrum Escape Rooms - ArvadaEscape roomIRLGood choice, had to pick between 2. GM was nice and helpful. They nudged at the right moments. Puzzles were hard, a lot of teamwork. Puzzles were linear for a team of 2. But more would have been good to do some puzzles that did not have to wait for one pair. Puzzles were hard, definitely more experience or people who do puzzles will be fine team of 2. Def no more than 4, chaotic if so. Glad I stopped here for a room on my weekend getaway.

Next time I need to make sure I tell the game leader not to lead us with any clues till we really ask for help. Too much guidance for me but I still enjoyed the game. I would like to try to come back for their other rooms. Also, the entrance is side of building, not the front 😐
The OvergrownEscape Room Era - AnaheimEscape roomIRLLoved the puzzles and the tech used in some parts. Tight spaces so harder for large groups outings. Gamemaster was fun and made the experience amazing. Met these wonderful people during Morty roulette. Such a blast and first time with cute doggy.
The Butcher - CLOSEDDeceptive GamesEscape roomIRLVery eerie atmosphere, played their lights out version since it was a far drive might as well play the hardest version. Live actor was good and scary. Puzzles were numerous and plentiful. Maybe next time bring people who arent as scared cause they were frozen as they wait for me to give them cues 😑. Only negative was a lot of the puzzles were very difficult/obscure like it was hard to connect the answer to certain puzzles.

Puzzles were definitely harder than I have seen and at the same time some were very obscure. Would love to come back when they open new hard rooms.
Inksidious - CLOSEDEscape Room 66 - Los AngelesEscape roomIRLReally liked the look and feel of the room. I loved the lobby decor as well. Make sure to say hi to Beans. Gamemaster was very welcoming, nice and cute in nature. The room contained a lot of puzzles involving locks. Everything was labeled and one knew where to go next. For experts: 2-3 is a good size. My group was 3 and we had plenty of time left. I took it slow to enjoy the environment and feel of the room.
AvalancheMaze Rooms - Robertson BlvdEscape roomIRLThe new game is pretty fun. The puzzles and rooms were interesting and fun. The story, like others state, makes no sense. I really did not understand the ending though. A bit disjointed but I liked everything else. The production and twist were definitely there. On the website it stated hard, but it was definitely medium for experienced players maybe a bit easy for others. Other than that I would like to try their other rooms. Puzzles are linear.

The room gives you one hour to finish but there were other time limits that were included to make the player want to may a perfect game. Puzzles were hard, fun and interesting. it was hard with two players but doable if experienced. 4 players with average experience would be better. Only negative is the size of the room. The game master was nice and reallyhelped with the story progression. I hope to try their future rooms. Both rooms there are amazing.
The Weeping WitchCross Roads Escape GamesEscape roomIRLExcellent game. It was definitely one of the scary ones. Live actor was great. Puzzles were kinda of hard with the fear factor. Room is doable with 2 with experienced players but you would have to pay for minimum of 4. The business as usual is high end, great decoration and atmosphere. Things were high tech. Small space for such an exciting room. Game master was nice and made the room enjoyable to distract us from fear factor.
Stash HouseStash HouseEscape roomIRLThe room is immersive, the whole place is the room. Gamemaster was nice and fun to talk to. Made the room fun and interactive. The puzzles were fun, hard, and some were different from what I had done in the past. The room was mainly nonlinear so its best to bring a good size group to play. We thought we would go through quick but we almost ended up using the full 90min. Best strategy is to divide and conquer. Also make sure to make time for parking it could be difficult. Thank you again to the game master! I hope the company makes more rooms!
Red Alert - CLOSED60Out - HollywoodEscape roomIRLPlace was nice and easy to find, there is street parking but I like that they have a private lot. My sister and I played Red Alert. Game master was very nice and ran the room well. The room had some easy puzzles and some bad puzzles. The Room was decorated well and it allowed us to be distracted for a bit. The game master knew when to nudge us but did not give us any clues because she knew we had experience in playing escape rooms. I would say the room is perfect for 2-3 players if you are experienced. 4 and above if you have a mix of new and experienced players. The puzzles were a bit linear at some points. I would definitely go back again to try the harder rooms or probably their more immersive new room.
Enchanted Castle [Chapter 4]Enchanted Escape Room - HollywoodEscape roomIRLThis was a random find I saw on Morty. This place had four rooms that can be linked together, chapter 1, 2, 3, and 4. My friends of course wanted to try their hardest which was Chapter 4. The place is sketch, especially at night but was quiet area. It was like in a big warehouse/complex. The room was tech heavy and not linear. Big groups will definitely help but if you really want to do all the puzzles, then maybe 4-6 would be okay. We escaped with three people. I liked how there were two ways to get clues, it was different and we liked it. There were some puzzles were like WTF, but we ended up getting it after the fact. We hope to try the other rooms next time. The owner, we think, was very nice and did some cute finishing touches/details we saw in the room and laughed about.
X-LabMiss TerryEscape roomIRLWent to this second location because I wanted to try another difficult room from this company and luckily this was walking distance from my hotel. It was different type of location, it was in a big office building, had to take an elevator up. The security guard was nice and told me what floor I needed to go to. The room was designed for Vietnamese and English. This room was small but puzzle and tech heavy. You will be blindfolded. I did like the theme was mutant related but the décor was left much to be desired. They concentrated on the puzzles more. Some of the puzzles were much too difficult to actually figure out and I had to use of all my help, which they only give 3. They might nudge a little if they are feeling a bit nice hahaha. The gamemaster was straight to the point but nice and spoke English well. Did not escape but would like to try their other rooms if I ever go back.

I did not expect that ending. They spoke english, so it went well. The location is very convenient. Not used to this type of location for an escape room, but this is not the States. I am thinking of going to their other rooms!!
An Office EscapeCinema Escape Rooms - Los AlamitosEscape roomIRLThe game was fun and It allowed me to reminisce about my favorite shows, a good tribute. The puzzles were not too difficult but would recommend at least 4 for a mix of type of players from non experienced to experienced players. 2 experienced is doable I think, we did it with three. The puzzles were linear and the space was huge for the amount of puzzles in the room. Gamemaster was nice and helpful, did not give hints, more of nudges for us. It took us too long to figure out the first puzzle that would allow us to start the room. I cant wait to see their other tribute room escapes. :P
Treasure IslandBrain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room is cute and the puzzles were tech heavy as well. It was a refurbished décor from a previous room escape company. The same game master did this room as well and we did it with 4 people. The room was easier with 4 but could have done with 2-3 advance players. It had many gems/references to many different popular tv shows and movies. What was funny was the room offered refreshments while in the room, which was a surprise. Highly recommend to do all their rooms if you are far from the location.
The Mad Scientist [prev. The Laboratory]Brain Games Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis room was so puzzle heavy and it was linear in nature, one can see when they play. Definitely needed four people to ensure the group escaped. We played with two people and decided on playing the hard version, meaning playing allllll the puzzles. We got to the last route and almost got out and the gamemaster still let us play it out, she was so nice and I enjoyed the room so much because of all the puzzles. The puzzles were high tech, very innovative how they incorporated different things. It was nice interacting with the game master and the explanation of the room and the company.
The CourtyardTHE BASEMENT: A Live Escape Room Experience - SylmarEscape roomIRLThis last room was nice because of how the created the ambience. It was very high tech in the room and some puzzles were linear in nature but you could have solved more than one puzzle if the group separated. It was a hard room for sure, we gave the actor a good nap!! We also made it to the last puzzle and the gamemaster stated that we did make it out, just needed a tool to hasten something but we were doing it the slow way. The actor was funny and cute hahaha, glad he enjoyed his short time playing. I really liked how they made it feel like we were outdoors.
