Servants of SleightThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLThe sets were very impressive. The storyline was solid. The puzzles made sense and were satisfying to solve. Very strong escape room. Reminded me a lot of the Houdini room in Houston which was also a lot of fun.
Pins & Needles Tattoo ParlorThe Exit Games FLEscape roomIRLWe traveled from Austin to Clearwater specifically to play this game and it did not disappoint. The story started the moment we were greeted (or berated 😂 - part of the story). There were so many rooms and layers to the story. Definitely in the top 5 of rooms I’ve done.
Neighborhood WatcherThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLUnique theming! Solid escape room. I love when rooms use actors to drive the plot. Creepy, but not scary, but I’m sure that depends on the person.
Operation Arctic Storm: The Final MeltdownThe Escape Ventures - OrlandoEscape roomIRLSo much fun! Loved the addition of the actor. It really got it life. The humor is also unique. The puzzles flowed really well and made sense. Definitely one of my favorites!
Mogollon Monster: Scouting for Arizona's BigfootThe Nemesis ClubEscape roomIRLWow - 10 out of 10 for immersion and storytelling. The place itself is truly unique and high quality. The room was well thought out. If we actually thought more logically about what to do (instead of randomly) we would have done better. They really were telling a story. I can’t wait to do their second room.
The Forest of FablesCU Adventures in Time and SpaceEscape roomIRLSo much fun! Our GM was amazing. The puzzles moved the story along and had great signposting. Highly recommend. We had 5. I think 2 people could do it. There was plenty to do for 5 people though. 3-4 is probably ideal.
Sal's CyberneticsThe Immersive MachineEscape roomIRLSo cute and fun! The GM being in the room stole the show. A great mixture of story, puzzles and humor.
Crazy Train: The Ballad of Skeemin' PlotzDoldrick's Escape RoomEscape roomIRLOMG! I am in awe with what Doldrick did with this space. I have not experienced anything like this! It was like being in a cartoon. They are so witty. Definitely a must do!
Cinema 7Will To Escape - OrlandoEscape roomIRLNow this was a good escape room! It had it all for me - theming was :chefskiss:, the right amount of creepy and spook, and puzzles made sense to me. Definitely one of the top rooms in Orlando for me. I can’t wait to try others by this company.
The Cabin: Chapter 2 - Monie MotelEscape Hour AustinEscape roomIRLI absolutely love Escape Hour and everything they do. They are by far the best place in Austin. We did this room after only being open for a couple of days so take that in consideration. We loved chapter 1. This experience was more vast. The puzzles just didn’t flow for us. There wasn’t enough signposting and we ended up being handheld by the GM through most of the puzzles. That was so frustrating and just not fun. We were given 4 flashlights for 5 people. 3 of them would only stay on for 3 seconds at a time and would turn off. It was such an unnecessary distraction and just fueled the frustration. I think I’m going to start bringing my own flashlights. We did enjoy the jump scares and the rich story. We only got through about 80% of the room with 5 people. Everyone was just so bummed at the end.
