No-contact with the haunts. I was very fond that the actor screaming was at a minimum which frankly really set this one apart as it lets the tension of the environment really do its work. Cannot recommend this location highly enough
The HeistThe Escape Game - OrlandoEscape roomIRLWhat a fantastic heist room. Full disclosure, we totally had an off day. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit but we were not at our best. Regardless, this is an amazing room and I kinda want to replay it when my brain is fully operational. One thing Escape Game does so well is to logic everything. Every element in the room, the puzzles and clues all tie back to not only the theme of the room but the story. This is such a hard thing to do and the team here made it look easy. Laura was our GM and honestly was basically the third member of the team for the day as we missed some obvious elements. If you play this one, and this is something I forget, if they tell you not to touch an item it basically means everything else is fair game. After some other locations I’ve played, I don’t do a good enough job of remembering the rules for what is off limits changes based on where you are at. This is a room you really need to play with the environment and you are rewarded for it. I highly recommend this room. Also wear something warm as one of the two rooms that host The Heist is kinda cold and this is coming from someone who loves the cold. Tidbits: Great location and large parking lot in the back (entrance is off the parking lot not the street front) Plenty to do nearby Rebooking discount These are public rooms. Plan accordingly if you are trying to be an introvert.
Trapped In NeverlandThe Escape CompanyEscape roomIRLWhat a phenomenal room. Arguably their best room. Fun theme, some truly unique puzzles and one of the better pirate experiences I’ve played. They did an excellent job of connecting the story to the setting and characters. They gave a thoughtful purpose for the story connection to the puzzling and theme of the room. Genuinely some of the more unique puzzles I’ve played and crazy there was not a lock, key or any usual mechanic in the room. Yes, the room is a bit older and yes it does not have some of the bells and whistles of other contemporary rooms however, this is still a great room. This is roughly our 160th room and this could rank in the top 20 for me in terms of just fun game play and diversity and variety of really cool puzzles. Highly recommend this room to a new to escape room player or someone with more games under their belt than we have. Would pair this with their Suburban Serial Killer room (not for the kiddos based on the subject matter of that room) but Neverland was safe for all ages.

The BasementThe Ocala EscapeEscape roomIRLWhat an absolute fantastic room This is peak immersion for a frightfully wonderful spooky story Flawless connection of story to room to puzzling and it’s really even more impressive based on a fairly small foot print This is roughly 165 ish or so room for me and honestly this is in the argument for most immersive scary room Also, this room only shared the name basement with other rooms in the area - completely different story and experience Room probably best for a team or three Our Gm Jasper was amazing Cannot recommend the room highly enough
Cabin in the WoodsThe Ocala EscapeEscape roomIRLSuper fun room As I understand it this is one of their older rooms but you would not know it from the experience Great story, strong connection to the puzzles and immersion throughout and a nice variety of puzzles for the whole experience This was just a super fun one to play and as I also understand this room might be shuffled out next year so definitely get out to play this one and the basement at this spot Also a big thank you to Jasper our GM who was wonderful

Jack the RipperLockbustersEscape roomIRLSo this was an interesting one. The immersion and build was beautiful. There was awesome fx throughout and great ambience to help really bring you into the setting. For game play, we went from concerned we might not finish to accidentally solving the last puzzle skipping two-three bigger puzzles and finished the room in 40 minutes. We had enough information to solve a puzzle, unbeknownst to us - that was the final puzzle. I did enjoy the room up until that last bit. I would highly recommend The Collector & Cremlocke if you are here. We played them recently and they were fantastic rooms. Tidbits: Rebooking discount Tight parking (there is parking across the street behind Red Robin which is a 1/3 block walk so very easy walk) Lots to eat/drink near by Escape Game is in walking distance

Might be my favorite one here and it’s a one room game This is a fantastic example of how to make a wonderful one room game The story was really fantastic and honestly one of the better ones I’ve played in terms of very strongly connected to your tasks in the game The technology was perfect and added to the experience and wasn’t gratuitous Highly recommend this one The vibe is spooky and not scary so not a bad pick for all ages
Blackbeard's TrapBreakout AdventureEscape roomIRLOne of the most unique pirate rooms I’ve played Such original puzzles and a thoughtful connected story The level of craftsman’s ship really is outstanding in this room. I have no idea how they made what they made (avoiding spoilers) While this might be an older room, everything is well kept and I’m working order, the special fx, lighting and music is really stellar Highly recommend this room and all four rooms here

The introvert in me likes the group I play with and we decided to give it a go. We waited in the lobby and the team there knew our preference and we just waited for a game to open up that didn't have extra players. We loved the room; great immersion, fun game play and the tasked mapped to the story so well - this was a blast to play. Tidbits: Public games Parking is hit or miss; it's a very heavy tourist area and parking and the entrance are in the rear of the building Plenty to do near by
Mission Unstoppable: Chopper DownLockbustersEscape roomIRLThis was a fun room to play. While it's showing it's age it still plays well. Good theme, strong immersion, fair puzzle with a mix on the mapping (some perfect some not completely obvious but not game breaking). Not gonna lie, we totally had an off night playing this one and this is only the second game we did not finish from the 100+ thus far but that is not a fault of the room. We will be back to tackle this one when we are more alert and into it. The location is great, parking can be tough as it's a high traffic area and not a lot of parking on their side of the strip mall. Ryan was a great GM; very friendly and good clueing throughout the game play. Tidbits: Parking is hit or miss but there is a larger lot across the street behind Red Robin (quick walk) Ample things to do. The location is connected to an Axe throwing location; discount for doing rooms and axe throwing Other rooms at this location
The Rest Easy MotelEscape Artists - OrlandoEscape roomIRLFantastic room and my favorite from the location. So ironically this replaced my previous favorite room at the location and this room, completely fills the shoes of Ninja (Ninja now in their Columbus location - go play it) This room blended immersion, story telling and connection of puzzle to story unlike most rooms. There was a great slow burn to the story and game play and it was fantastic. Cannot recommend this room enough and frankly all three rooms here are wonderful. Tidbits: This is in an outdoor shopping area so parking is tough, suggest parking at Publix and walking over. Lots to do in the area so make a day/night out of it Rebooking discount is available (at least it was for us)
Secrets Of The PharaohsMystique Escape RoomEscape roomIRLThis was a blast to play. Great room, fun immersion and cool game play. This is fairly linear in design. The room atmosphere is very thoughtful and the puzzle design and connection to the immersion and story are really strong. I'm not certain why there was "blue" for room reviews, totally understand not every room is someone's cup of tea however we really enjoyed the experience. All the puzzles were fair, we needed a bit of nudging on a few puzzles but nothing that derailed the game play. It has some really well done elements we haven't seen in other Tomb-themed rooms so if that is your genre, you might really love this room. Highly recommend it. This was my second favorite room at the location; Murder is still my favorite here. Tidbits: Strip mall parking so park at the Publix lot if you have a challenge finding a spot Plenty to do near by They were offering a summer promotion for rooms (outside Friday and Saturday) so check their social pages for offers
