The Escape Ventures - Orlando Waterford Lakes

Escape room
IRL

This is one of the best games I have EVER played. If you are looking for an escape room that takes things to the next level, it’s this one. You are completely immersed in the story when you are in the hallway to the actual room. I don’t want to give too much away but you will not leave this room disappointed and if you are outside the Orlando area, TRAVEL! It’s so worth it!

This room opened my eyes as to what escape rooms are capable of. Escape ventures takes their rooms to a level I was not prepared for in the best way possible. This room is a must do in Orlando!

Although this room wasn’t my favorite, it’s still solid. The only thing I didn’t like was the black out darkness, but that’s the schtick of the room. It was unique and challenging but I won’t be searching for black out rooms like this one in the future.

Dare 2 Escape

Although this isn’t my favorite game at Dare 2 Escape it was still a solid game. The scares in this one are vastly different than the ones you will find in the seventh room. This much more jump scare oriented, which I liked at first. Definitely check it out but know it’s not the same as seventh room.

Although I was skeptical of the game play I was proven wrong! The game is on theme but not so much so that you couldn’t play the game if you haven’t seen the show. As with all of the rooms at Dare 2 Escape I loved it and can’t wait to come back!

After all the hype I had to go play. And it was MORE than worth the hype. The puzzles were unique but still solvable without hints, the theming was ON POINT, and the game masters were fabulous. Worth the hype and a must do in Tampa!

The game was really good, although older (which shows). Also, our game master did not make us feel welcome which was disappointing. The room is worth a play, just beware that your game master may not be the best.

The theming of this room is unique and executed well. I don’t love the concept of “optional” puzzles but they include them well. Our game master (the owner) is the nicest man you will ever meet and genuinely care about escape rooms and their patrons experience

If you’re looking for a unique scare experience, this is the room for you. It’s scary, but not in the traditional sense. This room will challenge you with your own fears and at some points you are separated from your group entirely. This room changed the game of horror escape rooms.

Escape U killed it with this room. Theming is unique and the puzzles are challenging but definitely possible to do on your own. If you’re up for the challenge this room is the one.

I LOVED this room. The story is engaging and unique, as well as the puzzles. Dare 2 Escape really showed their passion with this room.

This game was once my favorite game of all time. Unfortunately with age this game has deteriorated and I no longer recommend it. The hint system was so unique it almost made up for the older game, but alas, the room just needs a good upgrade.

This game is unique and challenging in the best ways! Hunter our game master is so knowledgeable on the games and took us through everything and gave us a bunch of info on the room itself. The game play keeps you on your toes throughout with a twist ending that I loved!

Although the game lacks in the esthetics department the puzzles are solid and the game is fun. It is quite challenging so make sure you bring some experienced players. The puzzles are some I have never seen before which I LOVE. All in all it’s a solid game and worth a play.

Just Encase is a hidden gem in Jacksonville! This room blew me away knowing it’s ran by two locals! It’s obvious from their rooms they are passionate about escape rooms. Although the rooms was tough, it was a fun challenge!

I was pleasantly surprised by this game! Although it’s homemade, the theming is unique and kept me wanting to know what the ending would be. Worth the play for sure!

The only reason I disliked this game was because it was lack luster compared to other rooms I’ve done. It’s worth the play if you’re already there but don’t go traveling for it.
