Lost and FoundHotel Veloria [prev. Kamer 237]Escape roomIRLThe people behind Kamer 237 are back again, this time we return to pick up our lost suitcase in the hotels lost and found. We are yet again submerged into this world and are following a very interesting story. It doesn’t top the previous room (kamer 237) but it sure gets close. The room was great and we definitely recommend doing all rooms at this location!
Here I AmEscape Room KatwijkEscape roomIRL“Here I am” is definitely my favorite prison themed escape room that utilizes the prison environment to its fullest potential. The prison is filled with references to the “Locked Up” prison show which added to the environment if you know that show. Very fun room, definitely in the top 5!

There’s tons of Easter eggs in the room that fans will enjoy. The puzzles were good and the room has a nice flow. Definitely worth it.

The DomeMama BazookaEscape roomIRLWow! We completely understand why this is one of the best rooms in the world because it’s just amazing. It’s a top tier room with no real competition. (This and mollys game are not comparable to other rooms) The game felt endless in a good way. The lounge at Mama Bazooka is great too! If you have done some escape rooms already then you should definitely step foot in the Dome!

The room was fun and had good puzzles and set design. The transitions from room to room were slightly lackluster but worked out. The end was a bit annoying.

Voodoo Vacation - CLOSEDAlchemy Escape RoomsEscape roomIRLAwesome room and very enthusiastic room owners. The room itself looked nice but was extremely fragile and clearly self made. (Which isn’t necessarily bad) A few of the parts were a bit confusing/unlogical in the grand scheme of things. This was mostly due to a real lack of direction. The puzzles were very cool but we only really knew what the puzzle was after we got a hint telling us. It’s clear the room is in the beginning stages and needs a few revisions. Would definitely recommend a visit though, can’t wait to play the other rooms that are soon to come.

Some original puzzles and other ways of puzzle solving were involved and that knowledge will definitely be taken into our next rooms. Decent room but you’re better off doing one of the other rooms at Fox in a Box
Back to the Future: OutatimeUniversal Studios OrlandoEscape roomIRLWASTE OF MONEY! (both rooms at location) This, as many have said, is not an escape room. It’s an experience. You are tricked into believing you will embark on an epic journey for 90 minutes. Truth be told, you are only in the room for 45 minutes, the rest of the time you are waiting in the lobby. The room has a forced flow, don’t finish a puzzle? “Oh look it just magically solved itself, go on to the next room now..” You are quite literally pushed to the next room before you can make any real progress with the puzzle. Most puzzles had to be brute forced by trial and error as there was nothing in the room that gave you this information. A lot of the important audio cues were suppressed by annoyingly loud background noises. We left completely dissatisfied and agitated.
Jurassic World: EscapeUniversal Studios OrlandoEscape roomIRLWASTE OF MONEY! (Both rooms at location) This room was a nice enough experience but definitely not worth its price tag. You are promised 90 minutes of playtime, but truthfully you only spend 45 minutes in a room. The other 45 minutes are accounted towards waiting in the lobby and parking.. Due to the way the room was made (for the masses) you were being forced from room to room before you could make enough/any puzzle progress. On top of that you either needed audio cues to solve a puzzle or just brute force them. The audio cues were often inaudible due to the ambient sounds being way too loud and badly timed. Overall this feels like a cashgrab and an unnecessary addition to these franchises
Dr. BraingoodThe Bureau Adventure GamesEscape roomIRLFor a long time we kept hearing that The Bureau has some of the best rooms in Orlando/Florida. We went in with full excitement and left a bit dissatisfied. The room is highly mechanical and quite easy. You weren’t struggling with puzzles but rather with the mechanics themselves. This made it more like an experience/game rather than an escape room. The story gets told at the start of the room and that’s pretty much all there is to know.

The Mission - CLOSEDExit Escape Room MiamiEscape roomIRLI personally thought this room was a big downgrade compared to another room they have (High speed NYC). It was very lackluster to do this room after that one. This is more like your typical American escape room. A lot of the design was basic and obvious. The puzzles were easy and the story was a bit boring. Comparing this room to a lot of other rooms here in Miami it’s definitely not the worst, but it wouldn’t make a top 10. It’s just an average room that’s great for beginners! (We got out in 26 min)
